I'm super upset right now. I just saw an Xbox 360 Premium system go for over 1K on ebay. Keep in mind thats not even with any games.

I coulda made so much money.

Highest bid today for a 360 core was $3,050 last time I checked. No games, just the core system package.

umm...no. there is no new console coming out from MS for at least a few years. they may have cut short the traditional 5 year cycle, but they won't be going down to two. the market can't and won't support it and, even if it could, MS would never make any money as they'd never get to the point where the console is cheap enough to produce that they make a profit with a sale. granted, they never reached that point with XBOX, but you know they want that point to come for the 360.

what really sucks is the crashing. I thought testing was supposed to spot that. my only thought is the machine is overheating outside of a cool lab, but you'd think they'd test for that as well.

I went to my local Best Buy last night at 11:30, but there were already 32 people there, and they were only getting 30, so I said screw it, went and ate at IHOP with a friend, then went home and slept in my nice warm bed.

I played Call of Duty 2 at Gamecrazy Today, as well as PGR3 on the X360. If I start saving now, I can probably buy myself a kick ass birthday present in the form of an Xbox 360.

Call of Duty 2 was a lot of fun to play on Xbox 360, and the good news is I can still play it on my normal xbox for less than a 360, get the same game and don't have to spend another $400 to play it.

My fiance and brother waited from 9pm - 6am Saturday night in 10 degree weather outside of Best Buy in Joliet (sucks) because we were all told that they were 42 units in and would be for sale. The manager comes out at 6am and says that there will only be 20 going for sale because they had to send some to the Naperville store because they didn't get their shipment in.. funny thing is that Naperville said that they did get their original shipment in so where did those 22 other units go?? I can tell you.. maybe Galvan knows also since he works there. I was so pissed.

Anyways onto bestbuy.com (sucks) somewhere between 6:30am-7am there was like a 5 minute window where they were selling 360's now when we got ours it said that item was in stock and we should recieve between 12/20-12/22.... everything is good... starting to forget the whole store fiasco. About 2 hours later we check bestbuy.com and it now says that they are on backorder. Needless to say I was on the phone with Customer Svc for almost 1 1/2 hours and even spoke to corporate. Apparently this happened to about 300 people that ordred online but rumor has it that we should be recieving it late this week or early next week. Now the store says that they have 42 units that came in and will be for sale (my fiance is #31 and my brother is #32) they don't follow through. Online says in stock but they sell more items then they have. I can't be completely upset because we were lucky just to even get in that 5 minute window just to be put on backorder because that is impossible to do also.

Geez...I might not have been able to get it anyway.....I am jealous ^^ I knew your man would get it....JUNKIE!! lol...I think I'm gonna wait a bit on it. I've heard quite a few people say that it freezes up in the middle of games. Not sure if it's a regular occurance with people that have it, but pretty much every single person I've talked to said that.

It crashes alot from what I heard. Sometimes so bad that it has to be returned.

Best Buy still on backorder but I got it today on Circuit City webpage and it has already been shipped out (got overnight shipping) and we will be getting it tomorrow. Cancelled order with Best Buy.

It's usually the same with all systems the 1st few batches. The same thing happened with the PSP's with freezing and blown micropixels in the screen. Hopefully we will get lucky like we did with the PSP and not have any problems with the system.

Anyways I picked up Call of Duty 2 for Xbox today and started playing right after school (215) and just now stopped playing without a break. Over 2 hours just flew by and I didn't get bored at all. Your squad relates with you, fights with you, it's visually pleasing, it's just a great game.
