As began in the "What in your opinion is the Best Front Row Ride?" topic.:::DISCUSSION REVIEW:::DejaVuGurl1203 Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 12:25 amI seriously don't see what the big deal is with location and theming for a coaster. in my opinion, for example, if V2 was in a different location, it would be the same. InsaneNewman Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 10:39 amThemeing is very important to a coaster!!! Do you know how often people complained that Shockwave was "just over a parking lot?" That's one of the reasons that Batman is so loved: amazing themeing. DejaVuGurl1203 Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 12:21 pmWell it's just my opinion... you didn't need to yell at me about it... InsaneNewman Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 12:25 pmSorry... sorry... you just touched a nerve... to me themeing is what makes or breaks a ride... it's why I love SWT so much. GamRCFreak Posted: Tue Jul 01, 2003 7:17 pmAnd I agree with the afore mentioned comment about location and scenery meaning something to a ride. If you look at the really great rides that have been popular for a longer time, they all have had good theming and locations. ie...Raging Bull, Batman, Viper, and at other parks, Goliath@SFMM, Medusa, and countless others.
