You flew that on a C11 right? That red and black one to the left of you is mine. It flew on an G64 and I lost it. I believe that was the launch where I put that green and black one in the lake too. For some reason, I kept a record of my flights for 2005. Just ingnore all of the yes's.

It was in the lake for 30 minutes. I let it dry out overnight an it was fine the next day. Those LOC tubes are very strong. My 38/29 adapter is stuck in there though.

Some guy gave me a big, heavy stick and rope tied to it. When the wind pushed it in close enough, I threw it out there and pulled it in. Worked great. Im never using a G with that rocket again unless im in wisconsin.

^ Yes, I have the 18mm, 24mm, 29/40-120, 29/180, 29/240, 38/120 and 38/240 casings. I was mad when it landed in the lake because it flew perfectly and its the first rocket that hasnt crashed or blown up in a while.
What do you plan on flying other than the spool? I would like to come and watch, but I have no way to get there. Make sure you get some video.
Heres my project for the winter. Its called Skeeter and its almost a 6 in. diameter with a 54mm motor mount.

I flew a spool, an Estes Mongoose and a PEPSI rocket.
The only decent video that I shot was of the Pepsi Rocket.

(It might not work right, it's supposed to be longer than 4 seconds)

^ The stuff im looking for can only be bought at Als hobby shop in Elmhurst because its high power. This means you have to be certified to use high powers motors and thats the only place in Illinois other than Wilman rocketry that sells this stuff. Wal-Mart sells the smaller, less dangerous kits (as i put it) which I only buy once in a while. I have seen them at Meijer too.
This is my high power V2.

Its really hard to stop because as you get older, the bigger rockets you get to fly. Next year I will be getting my level 2 so I can fly J, K and L motors.
