^Oh well, good for them, but i was hoping for Diablo Falls to come to Hurricane Harbor next year. Massachusetts should be thrilled.

The parks are all owned by the same company, Six Flags Inc.
Each park has it's own General Manager, however, who basically just looks over the park and makes sure everything operates as planned. 99% of all additions to parks are planned by Six Flags Inc., not the individual park.

Then why would sfgam have to "buy" greezed lightning if we wanted it.(I seriously doubt were getting it).

There is no chance that our park would get that. It is like putting back Shockwave, once it is gone, it is gone.

They wouldn't. Some people just don't understand how it works, or they compare it to a franchise system, where each store is owned individually and buys everything individually, and the only thing it has to do with the big company is buy rights to use the name every year or so. (It is a bit more complicated than that, but that's it in a nutshell.)

Execpt in the case of SFoT, SFoG and SFMW.
Over Georgia and Over Texas are owned in majority by SFI. The rest (minority ownership) is held by a private partnership of a few people. Also, the steam locomotives at SFoT are leased from the Patout Family Sugar Plantation in Louisiana.
Marine World is owned by they City of Vallejo, CA. Six Flags operates the park for them. There was a recent move by the city to try and have SFI buy the park outright but they didn't take it.
Other than that just about everything else is owned by SFI
