35,000 is nowhere near overly crowded. That park can hold over 60,000 guests before being required to close the front gates.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
Still there were alot of people i went and i only went on Demon, East River Crawler, The Carousal, Orbit, and Revolution. The rest of the time we just went to the shows and haunted houses.
To those of you that make these topics and post only to complain that the lines are so long, stop whining! It's a freaking amusement park, expect crowds. The park does not cater to only SFGAmWorld posters and ACEers, it caters to the general public that goes just a few times a year and is willing to SPEND MONEY. That's how they're able to build the attractions to bring in even more guests with more money.
Very well said twixmix, couldn't agree more. Even though the crowds suck, I would much rather have a packed park making money, than having an underperforming park with the risk of being shut down and closed because it is not making money, aka Astroworld (I know there was more to it than that). Sure SFI is in major debt, but one thing everybody does not have to worry about, is Great America closing.
it was a 2 and a half hour wait for Raging Bull! That is ridiculous!
Ha, I take it you were not there when RB first opened. Or when Batman first opened. 2 1/2 hours are nothing.
I heard the line for Batman was looping around the front of the park all the way to Hometown Park (the old kiddie area). Not sure if this is true, though.

If I remember correctly, it didn't reach that far, but it was well over a 2 hr wait.
