Why dont you delete all of the meeting and gathering forums except the ones for the dates that havent happened yet? It would save some space.

1.) It would take up a lot of time to sit and scan through all the topics.
2.) Space really isn't an issue.
3.) There would be nowhere for someone to make a simple comment without making an entire trip report if a trip report hasn't already been made.
4.) If there are crowd predictions/reports in the topic, they can be referenced the next year for determing the best time to visit (i.e. the second Friday of Fright Fest was least crowded time to visit during October).
5.) It's just not a good idea in general to any delete posts (mainly for the above reasons) unless they are offensive or extremely difficult to read.

Because if there is any good information about Fright Fest 2005, then it will ususally apply to Fright Fest 2006. (Such as Fridays are least crowded day to go, etc...)

How is deleting a topic making the site a better place? I'm not trying to start an arguement, I just can't figure out why people here have the strangest pet peeves...like bringing up old topics and not deleting old topics

Making this site a better place would mean the end of threads that claim to make this site a better place :)
