Well today blows cause for weeks my aunt has "begged" me not to go to FRIGHT FEST without her, so I didnt go This was a big mistake seeing she ditched out on me......WHY?
I Have that lonley and sad feeling because Im obseesed with SixFlags and I know its going to be closed for 6 months And that "smiley" there to the left is what I seriously look like. Im getting a stupid stomach-ache over it.
So I was wondering who was going on Halloween and if its worth those five hours....I need some convincing cause my friends parents wont let them go out on a school night I need one of my friends who have a car convinced enough. Ugh, this sucks so bad
So in other words, If anyone was going who lives around DOWNERSGROVE/WOODRIDGE, I wanted to see if we could meet anywhere -Thanks.
I am trying to find someone with a car also, if that works out, then i will definitely be there. Tell your friend's mom that on Halloween you stay up anyway and that it makes no difference where you stay up late at. Also, it is DEFINITELY worth the money. Everything is reasonably priced now and i can't wait. I need a car also, sorry i can't be much help to you.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
I'm going. 5 hours is plenty of time, if the park isn't crowded. And since a lot of people don't really know that admission is only $15 for 5 hours, it may not be. I think that $15 for 5 hours is a great deal, you don't even get that kind of deal on Fridays during FF, and it's only open an hour longer then. Got rid of my kids for the evening.....COASTER FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!!
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!
This year I have only gone once, for about an hour, because the park has been so crowded and ive been busy with other stuff. I think 5 hours will definately be enough, considerring most people will be trick or treating.
i'll be there. I don't know about attendence for today though. I think there still might be plenty of people there. I heard that Lake County sent out mail to all of the people who live there about the event, and there were flyers and spiels playing all weekend at the park about it. I know that all of Lake County has school off, I believe, so i'd expect to see a pretty nice sized crowd of them there. It definetly won't be packed, but there will be lines, so don't think it'll be dead.
I know i'll be getting all the merchindise i've wanted all season today. I borrowed fifty dollars for the park today. I just have to get through two college classes and I'll be set!
I personally think it will NOT be as dead as most of you are thinking it will be. There was so much advertisement, and all the people that live near the park would come because it isnt far, cheap entry, and 50% off everything. I will be there, but I would rather keep the group small to who I already have planned as being there with. It should not be like the weekend, but more crowded than you'd think. I am expecting 5-10 minute waits for every coaster.
