NIU is featuring a trip to SFGAm this day, so I guess I've got the option of going. Last day before offseason and the 6 month wait.

Closing day right now is a yes, unless the Sox go to a 7th game, then I might have to go to that.

I went on Halloween last year.
^ Me too and it wasn't very busy at all. That was nice!
I'm thinking of making a suicide trip this day. Leave home 4am Sunday and get back +/- 2am Monday. Then go to work at 8am.
Its how I closed my season last year on Halloween, so I'm thinking it ought to be an annual tradition. It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I'll be there that Friday and Sunday.

i'll probably be there on friday and sunday too. Originally, there was a possibility that i'd be going to Kansas City for a journalism convention that weekend, but the people from newspaper never called me and told me I was going, so I'm going, ha.

 My haunt this year is experiencing record turnout which is great for business and for those college scholarships that get funded with the proceeds. We were rated #1 in the Springfield area by the local paper (We have 7 or 8 well established haunts within a 30 mile radius of Springfield) The bad part is that this means I am scaring well into the wee hours of the morning which means I won't get any sleep before heading up. Last night we sold our last ticket at 11pm, and we didn't finish scaring until 1:30am. Tonight we stop at 12am, but we are expected to be scaring up till 2am, possibly even 3am. Even with the clock change, I would still only get 2 hours of sleep before having to leave. Therefore I have decided it is in my best interest not to attempt the trip.
It looks like last weekend was it for me, but it was worth it. I look forward to seeing you all next season. It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Next season is too far away!
