Looks like a Top Spin on crack. What does it do? Does it flip around like King Chaos or does it not go upside down?

Torn down. It was never running. The cool sign is still there I think.

It's like King Chaos a tad bit, but it shifts from side to side like it does in the picture.

It was a Vekoma Waikiki Wave, it was like a top spin where the arms could move independantly but the gondola never flipped, just rocked side to side and back and forth. The ride was plagued with technical problems and rarely operated, though when it did (only saw it running thrice, rest of the time it was stuck in some unnatural position for the full day) it wasnt all that great or interesting of a ride outside of the noises it would make that could be heard throughout the entire park, a lovely gear grinding and electric brake noise.

Mondial makes their own version (actcually their's was first, possibly the First), the SuperNova, it's a far superior ride which has lapbars only and seats face down the length of the gondola instead of outward. Though there is only one left in the US the former European traveling Indiago which resides at the State Fair of Texas and only operates during the fair (it is to heavy to even leave the fairgrounds), it is manually operated by a guy they fly in from Germany every year, he really know how to work the ride, and it's a truely great ride.

And Quake did have a pretty nifty sign.

It was torn out this past year and sent back to Vekoma (it was leased from them), it was replaced by the Tornado in their waterpark.

So basically it's like a HUSS Top Spin except it just raises the sides of the pod up and down. Right?

yep, and it does not invert (also there is back to back seating, instead of 2 rows facing the same way)
