Yea it opened with Turn of the Century which they added two loops to it and it is now named Demon. It also opened with the Whizzer and a little kids ride which only lasted two years. But before Great America opened Riverside was around for a while then they closed. Riverside was a very well-known park when it was open.

So Turn of the Century had 2 corkscrews and that was it? I guess at the time that would have been popular, but a hill and a drop, then a turn into 2 corkscrews and it was over? I guess it's a good thing that it was modified into the Demon.

it was really smart of GAm to retheme (and add the two loops) to "turn of the century"... the demon theme is awesome i think... i love the queue song, i wish they still played it. i think it would attract people...

Not if we all keep making off-topic posts. But not that it matters, it's all in fun. But anyhow, other than the loops being added and the tunnels, was Turn of the Century modified in any other ways?

The only thing I can think of was the loops and the Waterfall being added on(I cant rem. if that was always there or not...) Also they had to take away some theming like the entrance sign because people complained it was too 'develish'...lol

I love all the theming they added and wish they would have kept all the devilish stuff. I'm Christian and all and I don't really think it is that bad. It's just a ride. Geez! Yeah, it's a good ride and the modifications did good to it.
