In my opinion, Chicago streets are a mess. Go down Belmont, and you will see cars parked everywhere on the street for the shops considering that many places don't have any parking. So, you have about one lane of traffic going down the street.

Navy Pier, whoppee do. Go to Lincoln Park Zoo, and it is especially sad. It's like a ghost town. There aren't that many animals in the Zoo. I like Brookfield much better. I'm a suburb type of person. At least, they have more things for me to do. Go to a Cubs game, and the fans don't even care about the game. All they care about is drinking and eating. The Taste of Chicago is too packed for my tastes, and traffic is awful just getting downtown during parts of the day.

I don't know what to say. Sure you can spend a day in the city, but I have been there so many times lately, that it gets booring after a wile.(no offense to those who live in Chicago) I might just be saying this because I am usually down there for a doctor's appointment and that is all I do down there. in my opinion Chicago could use some help. The streets are a mess, you have taxi drivers who don't know how to drive, and everything is overpriced, but then again it is the city. Some good things about the city are the Bulls, Bears, Italian Beefs yum, and the White Sox. Yes I'm a sox fan.

I have a different take on the city. I actually love it. Everytime I visit there, I always have to go to Navy Pier. I like the Sears Tower and the stores down the Magnificiant Mile shopping district are awesome. Chicago reminds me of a carbon copy of NYC and I love that type of atmosphere. The only thing I haven't done since my visit is hit up some of the clubs. Hopefully, I will be able to next summer (or possibly this Spring since I heard the news that Wrestlemania 22 will be in Chicago on April 2nd at the Allstate Arena).

Chicago has Portillo's ribs and the Cubs. Plus heavy traffic on 294 is the closest to NASCAR I'll ever get. Whats not to love (other than that rat bastard mayor tearing up Meigs field).

Lets not forget the Chicago area will be host to several corruption trials (Ryan now, Daley, Blago later) - that should provide great entertainment.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Technically, Westlemania will be in Rosemont at the Allstate arena.

^ Tickets go on sale next Saturday. Last year the Staples Center sold out in a few seconds (set a record for the arena). I've been to Monday Night Raws at the Allstate Arena that have sold out so I'm sure if you want to go act fast...I'll just get it on PPV.

Chicago is the sh$t! Its overcrowded on the north side but its really cool if you know where 2 go. I live on the southside, so I'm a die-hard sox fan. For all you who dont enjoy Chicago I suggest searching the city for something to do, or meet someone who can show you around. Chicago has a lot to offer.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.

If Riverview were still around, that would make Chicago even more fun.

Two words:

SEARS TOWER!!
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"

Shot this from an airplane flying over Zion. Click it (opens new window), click the picture (enlarges photo), and look closely.
