Ok, so a neighbor of mine just called asking if I could babysit for her in a couple of weeks for 3 days and I'm like 'Ill get back to you'. Well she has 3 year old twins. I dont even know if they are boys, girls, or a boy and girl. I just know she has 3 year old twins. I have no clue what to do. Do any of you have sugestions for me? I've never babysat any kids I hardly/dont know and If I have I went with a friend and we watched 'strawberry shortcake'. I'm like SO confused and I dont know if I really want to babysit them.. UH so confused. HELP PLEASE
^RBull:I hope you're kidding. That could be construed as child abuse!
I have never babysat 3 y/o twins, but I have 2 younger twin sisters. The key to a serene time with twins or any toddlers is this......If you start some game...be willing to play that game a million times. Bring out coloring books for quiet time, let them run off energy out side.
I also have 2 children that are very close in age, boys, and they will entertain eachother quite frequently, but you also have to referree fights over toys.
GOOD LUCK!

big neighborhood and I dont really talk to the neighbors alot. thx for the tips (by the way i found out that they are twin girls who live in a strict family so they should listen to me pretty well)
My mom has her own Day Care in the home and she says ask the parents do they have any PBS Kids tapes or their favorite movie,
or Just ask the parents do they have a favorite game and all! I
hope this helps and Good Luck!
From being one of the class geeks in 8th grade to one of the most noticable ones in High School. Thats what you call "Steppin Yo Game Up!"
because i work in a kid activity center, I would say to spend time with them. Don't just shove them in front of a TV for a few hours. That'll be boring for them, and bored kids equal annoying children. I say maybe read them a book, or play a game, or color a picture or something. Don't just shove them off somewhere so you can do something else. Spend time with them, and since you're going to be with them for a few weeks, you should try to kinda get to know the girls. i don't mean like everything about them, just learn what they like. It may take a teeny bit of time, but you should have fun with them, and enjoy yourself.
