There's no doubt that this one is a flyer. I've been hearing rumors about this for years... I have a slight chance of going to SFMM next year, and I hope this is a good one.

OOHh...For some reason I love the colors :? If its a flyer I hope its huge, even though SFMM doesnt need another monster coaster. Ha... if the supports are a green itll look like a hotdog(the yellow & red is kechup and mustard, and the green...relish) Oh, I'm so stupid :(

Looks good to me.

Hopefully they don't ruin it (see=Scream!) by sticking it over a parking lot.
Eh, what's up?

It's going in Samarui Summit (nice gardens and wooded area) and I think it's gonna look great there.

Look at Shockwave's old pics, it was mostly over a parking lot like area(cement everywhere!)....Then we tore it up and put SUF over a now beatiful grassy plot of land. So what im sayin is that a lil tearing up the "gravelness" and building over dirt....a little time, and wala...a nice green peice of park. 8)

Isnt this being built on a hill or something anyways? :P

^ How is that ruining the ride?

Also let me ask you have you been on Scream? If not you cant really make a judgement, If you have WHY THE HELL where you busy watching the Ground and not enjoying the ride?

Secondly, The ride is in the wooded area near Samuri Summit i beleive.

Ah, if it's in the wooded area than we have no problem.

Tell me, how can this possibly be better than something like this, or heck, let's go for the ride Scream! was cloned from. Are you telling me you would rather ride a parking lot coaster over a one that *at least* has grass?
Eh, what's up?

Since you brought up SCREAM!, when I went last summer the ride was really fun but sort of riggidy and rough for a fairly new B&M :?
Does this have to do with the fact that its on a parking lot, or does this not really matter? The roughness wasnt horrible but just not glass smooth.

Newer B&M's are kinda shakey, not as smooth as most are acustomed to. I hear Scream has at least one nasty jolt on it, and the resy is loaded with strange vibrations.

New coaster is going on the hill, where Orient Express was. Should be really neat, A.I.R. at Alton is easily one of the best flyers because of the terrain, no real forces to speak of, but it produced a feeling of truely flying, unlike the SUF's.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder

When I went on Scream! in 2003, I didn't notice any jolts or
strange vibrations. To me, it ran as smooth as glass. It would
look better if there was grass around it, but who cares. It's
a great ride anyways.

As for the new coaster, the colors look like Silver Bullet from
Knotts Berry Farm. I would bet that this should be an awesome
Flying Coaster. It'll just depend on elements and speed.

Del Holland - Manager of SFMM

Tim Burkhart - Dir. of Operations of SFMM

Never been to Magic Mountain, but with what I hear it seems like both needs to be oust. I would give Burkhart an exception that corp didn't give the park funds to fix the rides they have. Yet it seems that all the funds are going to a new coaster.

I heard the Batman Begins Show did nothing to growth attendance, neither did Tornado for 2004, and Scream for 2003.
I don't know ALL the Facts!!!!!!

I think Scenery/Grass and stuff below and around the ride does make a difference verses parking lot, when a person see's the ride, in a scenic and grasses area, i think it makes the ride look more of value and stuff. plus if theres tree's it makes it more exciting. just my opinion

Yes. I agree, the ride is more fun with natural scenery. I also love when trees are around because in some instances it makes you feel youre going alot faster, athough.....When I went to SixFlags last time I stuck my hands out on RagingBull & my right hand hit the tree before the brakes and I had little cuts on my fingers
