Best wooden coaster I've ever ridden, although Avalanche is a close 2nd.

The ride features a really nice pre-lift sequence and if your in the back row and pack some really nice ejector airtime.

The tunnel is just pure bliss, and features a turn at 90* although you can't really feel it because you are goign so slow.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine it's pretty smooth. Looks like an amazing ride, in a bad park filled with some good wooden coasters.
Eh, what's up?

I have yet to ride it. I was just in the Dells this past weekend on a camping trip too, but I couldn't get the gang to want to go. We did play some mini-golf next to Timber Falls, where Avalanche is. I haven't rode that one yet either.

^Yes, indeed. As many times as I've been up there... it's pathetic really. We've talked about taking a trip to Mt. Olympus next summer. So, next year should be the year. 8)

Yes it's very smooth, but it's also very new.

If you were at Timber Falls why didn't you just pay the 6 bucks and take one ride on it? That would have only taken 4 minutes at the most!

Hades is great. The run before the lift hill offers up four spots of airtime including the drop right out of the station. The tunnels can jerk you around a little, but its nothing major. Ride it at least once in the day and once at night. The night ride was my favorite. You get a great view of the Dells all lit up, and the tunnel is perfectly pitch black.

I would reccomend riding it ASAP. Judging on Mt. Olympus' other coasters, their not into taking care of their machines, and this one will probably become as rough and worn as the others within a few years.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Hades is a good ride, it is my number 3 wooden coaster. It was too hyped up though, I was amazed and kinda disappointed at the same time. I think it will be better after the add the sixth car and second train for next year, more air time in the back then, it may jump up spot thens. Hades is really smooth, but it is new, I want to see how long it turns into Zeus.

Hades is the best wooden coaster Ive been on. Prelift is has some pretty cool drops and turns. The tunnel I think is the best part but it is a little rough. I never even knew I went 90 degrees when I was in the tunnel. Its cool to know you did though. Nice airtime and turns. One of the best night rides Ive been on as well. The tunnel is almost pitch black and you dont know whats coming at you. Even everything outside the tunnel at night is awesome. I recommend this coaster to everyone.

I enjoyed my ride on Hades, I must say that. I need to try out different rows though, I only rode it once.

If they are still open I'd e-mail them personally, I wouldn't trust the website lol. If you go to their website there is an e-mail address to somebody in their PR department, I've e-mailed em a few times and always got a response by the next day.

Be advised that the outdoor waterpark will not be open until Memorial Day of next season, Bay of Dreams should be open all day though. And since Bay of Dreams is better than their entire outdoor waterpark in my opinion thats not a big deal.

Have fun, be sure to get on the ride before 8:00, if you arent, they will not let you ride despite being in line. Night rides are awesome and better than day rides.
