Although I'm not certain, I can almost guarntee that it's false. (operative word being almost) Neither the holding brake nor tower are designed to hold the train for extended periods of time. Doing such would put unnesscesary stress on the ride, and could lead to damage. Also, the single set of magnetic brakes is nowhere near strong enough to hold the incredibly heavy trains vertical for more than a few seconds. So basically, if it were even possible, it could very well result in damage, depending on the duration of time spent stuck.

Unless something went wrong with the train and it got jammed in the tower orsomething its basically impossible and the coaster wouldn't have been running on Sunday. It was running on Sunday when I was there so it never happened...and I finally got my first ride on it this season.

Yeah, I doubt that's true. If it was true it would be all around the news.

I went yesterday June 11, and V2 got stuck on take off the ride just before me, it took off and boom it just stopped. It was stuck for about 10 minutes before mechanics showed up and fixed the problem. My ride was great though.

Yes, that must happen often. It happened when I was there on the 6th. It was raining though. I just got off the ride, me and 1 of my friends. Everybody else was on the next rude, about 15 other people from my group. Well the other person and I stayed in the exit line to watch them. Then it got stuck like down kinda by the station where it sticks out. Ya know? It launched but stopped right away. They were stuck there for about 10 minutes while the mechanics were trying to fix it. Me and the other person who had already rode just stood there and watched them. It was fun making fun of them! Anways the rain that day caused tons of malfunctions. I literally saw 6 different coasters break down right in front of me.

I can see how V2 can malfunction just outside of the station while launching, but I don't know if V2 can get stuck in the vertical back-spike(or have seen it happen).
