X Scream

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Has anyone every ridden this ride? I have, and I would have to say that this ride is almost as boring as Jester's Wild Ride. That's pretty sad. I can't believe the price is $425,000. A ride like a Zipper is only around $200,000 (high price for a newer one) or even less.

I rode X-Scream back earlier this year, it was a decnet ride. The last time it tilts forward is the best cause it goes fast and stops suddenly right over the edge. It would be boring, but it is way up in the air which makes it a decent ride. Gotta go front row on that thing.

I find X-scream quite boring, I rode it at the IAAPA trade show before it went out on the road (though I also rode it agian a year later in the are and it didnt change my opinion.

However a new Zipper costs in the range of $450,000 brand new (though technically Chance has stopped production of the Zipper (though if you went up to them with a wad of cash, they would certainly make you one, unlike Chaos which is DEAD and Turbo which they wont admit they ever made in the first place) :)
