For those who have ridden both, I want to know which BTR is better: The one at SFStL or SFGAm? I know they're basically the same, but I'm sure there's some kind of difference.
I'll be going to SFStL on October 1st... so I was just wondering.
I have been on the one @ Gadv, but its not the mirrored version like SFSTL. I almost blacked out on the one at Gadv my first ride but it was prolly just a fluke. You fly around gravel instead of grass and trees like SFGAm so I like the SFGAm one better. SFGAdvs queue is MUCH nicer though.
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"
I agree. Our's is much better. The serious lack of anything to fly around at St. Louis makes the ride just a bit boring. Ours is flying through trees, over ponds, makes a nice little dip into the ground. Theirs flys over gravel and pavement.
Exactly. I also HATE it when people say OUR B:TR is cloned! It's the original. It's not cloned, it's been cloned from. They make it sound like ours isn't the original. Makes me MAD!

I can't speak for St. Louis, but that is the main reason the SFOG Batman wasn't as fun as ours is... no scenery. It's really not that exciting hanging down over gravel.
well, while I dont have anything meaningful to contribute (I find all batmen to feel quite similar exept for the mirror images where applicable similar, though I havent ridden 2 of them).
Random fact: SFSTL runs our Batman's original trains, so SFGAm has trains that are one year newer than the ride. SFSTL(their GM actually) was weary of such a new design at first, so rather than risk it, they wanted something they knew worked for sure, so rather than risking it and missing opening day and basically wasting a hell of a lot of advertising dollars, SF had SFGAM's trains sent to SFStL over from our BTR, and we got their new ones.
Just feeling random here.
