I tried TaB soda (Yes they still make it. No it doesn't give you cancer.) and whenever I mention it to someone most of them said it tastes nasty. Does anyone like TaB?

That crap is still around?
Did they finally decide to make it now with Splenda or one of the other artificial sweeteners instead of using Sacharine like the old days?
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

That is some nasty stuff!! Geeze where did you find it?? I thought that went away in the late 80's. Or maybe I just found Coke and Pepsi by the time I turned 10... who knows

Didn't you get the memo Punkbunny? All of the '80's stuff is coming back with a vengence. Just look at all of these trendy punks we have running around. Care bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Transformers, Smurfs, and Teddy Ruxpin (mp3 version due out in sept.) - Oh my.
I guess the cool part is that I can relate to the stuff my little one grows up with. Wonder if I can find her a Kid Sister doll anywhere......

Teddy Ruxpin is back!! I MUST have one! I remember when I 1st got one he scared the crap out of me... the talking and blinking bear.
I must admit that I have quite a few Care Bears things... I'm still a kid at heart.

He will be available in Target stores in September. This time it will be a .mp3 version with pre-recorded books similar to the tapes that the originals came out with.
Personnally I preffered the tape version, since it worked with any tape.
There was just something funny about putting an Eddie Murphy tape in Teddy's back, then watch the curse words fly.

MP3 version huh? He's the new advanced Teddy Ruxpin. I would hope that his voice would not sound as scary as it did back when I was a mere 'lil tot. I had problems sleeping with him staring at me from my toy shelves

You can't dowload any mp3 either. The files are going to be sold on special cartidges that insert into Teddy.
Of course this info is from an article I read back in June, so some of it may have changed by now.

I once had TaB. Tasted like ear medicine mixed with turnip juice. From now on I stick to good ole' Coca-Cola or Pepsi. No RC, Diet Rite, 50/50, Dr. Pepper, Shasta, Canfield or any other knockoffs.

Andrew: Tab was the first widely sold diet soda. It came out in 1963, but popularity died quickly when Diet Coke came out.
Binks Drake: No it doesn't cause cancer. The saccharin thing was proven to cause cancer in rats, but has no affect in people.
Chitown: No Artificial Sweetners.
punkbunny: I found it at the Piggly Wiggly in Grayslake and Dominicks.
coasterdude: NO SHASTA?! I love Shasta Cola! Took 6 months to find the stuff!

My science teacher a few years ago was obbsessed with TaB. He always had a couple of 24 packs scattered around the room.
