This has to probably be the best ways, and one of the rarest ways to get stuck on a coaster.
Yesterday at Cedar Point, a full train of rider's on Top Thrill Dragster got stuck on the top of the top hat for about 15 minutes...as the train stalled at just the right spot and the weight was just perfect to keep it there.
That's awesome. Physics amazes me, yet again. Can you imagine the anticipation of maybe getting a little gust of wind and going either fowards or backwards? That is the second time I know if this year that the train has flat out stopped on top of the hill. Kingda Ka did that, it just stalled at the bottom, not quite the same view.
That might be fun for some cause its a nice view , but i wouldn't like to be up there for so long, it would drive me crazy. That is my opinoin and I hope others will be respectful of it, as I am with theirs.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.
I think that would be awesome. It would be a great view, 420 feet up in the air. Plus you get to stay on the ride longer. I'm not surprised someone actually puked on that train.
my question is, how can there be so much (rolling)friction that it is possible for a relatively long train to become stuck at the apex of a fairly sharp hill, and it's happened several times, both loaded and unloaded). Another testament to Intamin's engineering skills.

I tell you what, if I was that mechanic and they sent me 420 feet into the air, I'd quit on the spot! That would be incredibly scary to be the maintenance man that had to be sent up there. I feel sorry for him!

Unless I missed it, it doesn't really look like the maintenance guy is even strapped in with a safety harness or anything. That's a pretty dangerous maneuver to be pushing a train atop a 420 ft hill without having yourself covered. If he had slipped, good night nurse.
I'm gonna twist ya, and I'm gonna flip ya. Every time you squeal, I'm just gonna go faster and harder.
^true but that wouls be awesome! being stuck 420 feet up... *sigh* that would rock! anyway, i feel sorry for that guy, if he made ONE just one wrong move he'd be gone like that *snaps fingers*
Stuff like that never happens to me, the only coaster ive ever been stuck on was viper. And when i watched the video of Dragster stuck it was cool seeing the mechanic go up there and push the train over the edge.
