Wrong forum, dear...Anyways, that's cool. I won't be going to Cedar Point for another couple of years. But it doesn't really matter to me because CP doesn't look that fun to me, but I bet I will change my mind someday.

ive been to cedar point 3 times over the past 2 or 3 years (im also going back in about a week!!!!). its an amazing and magical place, to me. i love most all the coasters there.millennium force. this is a must ride. ive hit this mosnter up at least 10 times and every single time i go up that lift hill it gives me butterflies. its amazing. tall, fast, and super intense. especially great at night and in the rain!wicked twister is a cool coaster...but the line is relatively slow. personally, i prefer v2. instead of the vertical tower, WT has two spiral towers. it is taller and faster, but it doesnt have that awesome pause that v2 does!magnum xl 200. do you like a lot of airtime??? ignore the ugly (and somehwat uncomfortable) trains...this ride is worth it for sure. features an amazing array of 0 g camel backs that make for a great finale.mean streak. this is the big woodie located way off in the back of the park. its a good ride, but, ill take american eagle over it any day. they have added a lot of trims to mean streak.blue streak. this is the oldest coaster at CP. located behind the raptor, its one that you have to ride if you are a sucker for old wooden coasters like i am. its a good ride, but not something that the extreme thrill seeker is gonna love.raptor. the big green inverted machine which shares a spot with millennium force atop my favorite coaster list. its like batman but a lot better. (youll come to realize that most of CP follows that pattern of being better than other parks).disaster transport. that wierd building with the water slide looking thing near wicked twister...thats disaster transport. its almost completely dark...i had never ridden a dark coaster, and didnt know that DT was one...but i was really suprised by it. its a cool ride (despite the somewhat out-dated theming).mantis. big standup coaster across from the MF queue line entrance. for me (someone not fond of standups at all) its very ho-hum. its a good ride, but one that i dont plan to hit this year unless the slow moving line is short.iron dragon. ah the suspended coaster...for whatever reason, this is one of my favorite rides at the park. its a lot of fun...very aestheticaly pleasing. weaving in and out of the trees and over the pond...not thrilling, but a lot of fun still.wildcat. this is deceivingly fun. looks like a stupid carnival ride...but for my money, better than a lot of the bigger and faster coasters (namely mantis and corkscrew). one car, 4 seats. a few drops, some tight turns and close supports (keep them hands in!!!). very worth it, but the line is sorta slow. located across from iron dragon on the way to MF.corkscrew. this ride im sure was very cool at some point in time. but now it is simply nothing more than the decorative ornament that corkscrews over the midway. fun to watch...not as fun to ride. you go up, come down, do a loop, double cork, back to the station. ride it if the line is under 15 minutes (which is not unusual).gemini is the big wooden racing coaster that isnt really wood. the supports are wood, but its actually steel track. i like this ride a lot cause it has a the look and feel of a woody but the distinct smoothness of a steel coaster. fun stuff.cedar creek mine ride is fun if ya like a quick tight coaster that will jerk you around in some quick tight turns. ive only ridden this once...but thats just because we always had trouble finding it (d'oh!). its fun...but kinda rough.power tower is a free fall ride. there are a total of 4 towers...2 that launch you up and 2 that drop you. its 240 feet tall. as far as free falls go, i like giant drop better, but the launch side is cooler than giant drop and if you havent ever been on a similar ride it is well worth it. very cool sensation.ok...well...thats the stuff that i can remember (im about to go to bed...its been a long day). there are plenty of cool pictures, videos, ride descriptions and stats and both http://www.cedarpoint.com and http://www.rcdb.comif you have any other questions id be happy to try and answer them for you if you post or contact me. :)

I was there on Saturday May 10th. It took me 3 hrs. 15min to get on TTD.But it was worth it. AWESOME RIDE!Millennium Force is the best coaster I've ever ridden.Like NegativeGeez said, if you are going up that lift hill...it's an undescribable feeling..uuuuhMagnum XL200 and Mean Streak are a lot of fun. Airtime, airtime, airtime...Mantis and Raptor are very intense, but they gave me a headache. :roll:Too bad, that CP is 6hrs. away from Chicago, otherwise you could find me there every single weekend :D

Wow! I dont know how you can say that, but if its up to you, its up to you. This park is WAY better then SFGAm (I think.) Also it has some better coasters, but some of the rides just make it tie with SFGAm.

Yeah, Negative Geez covered it pretty good... but make sure you hit all the coasters. The three standouts from last year were once again in my opinion Millennium Force, Raptor, and Magnum XL-200. Wicked Twister is good, and I'm sure you know to hit TTD.

Yeah, we talked to some people in line at GAm, and they said Cedar Point even puts GAm to shame... I can't wait to go this year.

ive said this many times...great america may be closest to my house, but cedar point is closest to my heart. it is a far superior park, and not just because of the rides...overall the atmosphere is better, its laid out so perfectly....its cleaner, prettier, and most importantly...its full of friendly, excitable staff. every ride, on of the ops gets a headset with a microphone to talk about the ride's stats and rules...and most of the time, they all think they are running the best ride in the park. its so so so so so much better than those awful, boring recordings at great america. ill never forget when we were getting seated in maggie and the op gave us the ride's height and speed in centimeters and cm/hr. also, there was a little blonde op working raptor who was jumping up and down, pumping her hands in the air goin "welcome back!!!! how was your flight?!?!?!"the whole park just has a wonderful personality.

What awful recordings are you talking about NegativeGeez? The music? Because, personally, the music played at Great America (mostly ragtime/Scott Joplin) is my absolute favorite music on earth. Better than any music there is.

While I won't argue with you on which park is better since I have a difference of opinion. If you thought the recording were annoying at SFGAm, go to Michigans Adventure once and you will think the SFGAm recordings are great. Michigans Adventure keeps playing the recording over and over again. It doesn't stop when there is no train being loaded or unloaded, it just keeps playing!

I remember when I was at Valleyfair! in line for a coaster. It was an actual person talking into a microphone; not a recording. But the guy talked in a fast, low, monotone voice and you couldn't hear him. You couldn't even understand a word he said. It was all mushed togather. I mean what's the point in even saying all that stuff if you're not even going to be understood.

I remember one day I was in line for Deja Vu and the recording wasnt working so this guy was saying all the safety stuff. He had a really heavy polish accent and he talked right against the microphone so you could understand a word he said. He sounded pretty funny though.

I think the station recordings are fine... They're simple, concise, and for the most part easy to understand. Most importantly they get the job done.

meh...i like having a live op going over the rules. it makes everything more intersting. plus most the ops at CP are personable and seem genuinely happy to be working there, whereas at sgfam, they often come off as cold or disgruntled...some of them are nice though.

The only one I can remember exactly is the welcome back one from Viper, because one time it felt like I was sitting in there for an eternity."Welcome back. When the train stops, push down, then pull up on your lapbar. Pleas exit to your left and down the exit ramp. Thanks for challenging the Viper. We hope you enjoy your day at Six Flags."
