I just got back from the park. The day started out very warm(ok, blistering hot) but it did cool down in the afternoon/evening hours. For those who are interested in knowing, the Season Pass Early Entrance was in effect today. It was only thirty-seconds to a minute ahead of the GP, though.
The park was running the warning from the National Weather Service, every few minutes, about a severe storm in the area, but all we got was a few drops of rain.
Hurricane Harbor seemed to have a lot of guests during the morning hours. Before HH opened at 11, the line to get into the waterpark was longer than Viper's line. Speaking of Viper, it did have a "grouper" in the morning.
Raging Bull was running three trains by the afternoon, which was nice. Although, the line for Raging Bull wasn't too bad throughout the entire day. I got 6 rides on Bull, including a nice dusk ride.
A mini-highlight of the day was getting my 50th-53rd rides on the Demon.
Iron Wolf had pretty short lines throughout much of the afternoon.
Vertical Velocity did not have too bad of a wait, either.
The real highlight of the day came from Deja Vu. Brad, aka Papas, was one of the Deba Zoo ride ops today. The, phonetically spelled, "Show-Shy-A Train" opened up at around 4:20 pm. I waited for the first rwo, got in 2nd cycle of the day. This was after about a 10-15 minute delay after the first cycle completed its run. I packed in 6 rides on Jeza, with two awesome end-of-the-night rides.
Back to Raging Bull, one new spiel for the Yellow Train was "We're the Yellow Train, the Yellow Train is Bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S Bananas." It was nice to see the crew having fun.
The only closed rides I noticed were Condor(maintenance), Stargate, American Eagle: Blue, & Ice Mountain Splash. Some rides, such as a few flats in SWT and the Great America Raceway, opened up later in the afternoon.
All in all, it was a nice day at the park.
P.S. I meant to ask this to the guests, but I forgot. For those who've recently been to the park, do you know which game has the Stewie Griffin doll, from Family Guy, as the prize? If they had the Evil Monkey, that would be even better.
^I noticed somebody carrying around a Stewie yesterday and wondered the same thing.
Anyways glad you had a good day at the park, I had a dusk ride on Raging Bull as well which was really neat looking over the waterpark. I'm glad Deja Vu opened and I could harrass Brad a little bit while he was doing his spiel's.

Yeah i was there yesterday...... my cousin and I saw someone carrying a Brian Griffin doll.........Well, any way, I had a good time too!!!!! I pretty much rode every coaster except: American Eagle-Blue and SSR....I ran into David (themanoftheland8) in American Eagle's line......Then we ran into each other again at HH.......My cousin and I got the First ride on D'Vu(deja'vu) which was awesome......Then we basically went on most rides.........I had an excellent day!!!!!!!
I was alos there today. I have noe reached 75 rides on Batman!
and (as noted in my sig/avatar) I've now developed this weird new love for the demon. Now that I'm taller, I don't get banged up at all.
I was also there. I had a good day. It was my first day in HH and I thought it was absolutely amazing. I would say that it was a GREAT expansion for SFGam. The end of the day was definately the best though. I got 6 rides on Batman and 2 rides on V2 in the last 45 minutes.
Coasters Ridden: 131 Top 5: Maverick, El Toro, Voyage, Fahrenheit, Dominator
