5/28 HH Opening

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We left the park around 9:15 and got there around 10:25. Had no problem getting in and getting a decent parking spot. We got in quickly and headed for Hurricane Harbor. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the opening. They had pirates with live parrots walking around. They had a countdown and then HH was officially open! I went in snooped around not planning on going on any slides . I took some pictures and looked around. Then we went over for a ride on Raging Bull. Back row in the rain. Very fun. After that was over to get something to eat. We ate and went over to King Chaos. I went on King Chaos 3 times in a row by myself because my neighbor didn't want to go on. As I was finishing my 3rd ride my neighbors GF met us and it was time to go to do a few more rides. We later went back into HH again and this time went and chilled out by the beach. I sang "When The Sun Goes Down" by Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker over at the DJ Bob Stage. We relaxed on the beach very comfy. We saw Circo Magnifico's first performance. I have to say it is very entertaining. The music and lighting are amazing. Our last ride of the day was V-2 and we left about 7:15.

Overall it was a very fun day. The crowds seemed light and the weather held out. I am planning on going again on June 11th or 12th.

Notes:

1. There are blue footprints leading up to the HH entrance.
2. The new entrance for HH is awesome.
3. They are very far along on the new restaraunt in the Shooting Gallery.
4. All the new SWT games are open.
5. There is a new flag on top of STT..it says Hurricane Harbor
6. Outside HH there is a large power switch similar to the one in the commercial.
7. The tube prices are $7.00 for Single and $9.00 for Double
8. Skull Island was not finished yet.
9 There was a lot of music in HH today...really made a more fun atmosphere.
10. No major ride breakdowns that I noticed. Although Vu closed down temporarily when it was raining.
11. Go see the Circus it is really fun.
12. Mr. Six did not appear as far as I know.
13. There were camera crews walking around HH and asking random people to be filmed on the slides.
14. The park is still looking very good
15. The staff is still very cordial.

That is all I can think of right now. If anyone can think of anything else please add it.
2010 is going to be one to remember forever!!

Hmm, interisting, I would have hoped to see the American Flag fly through at least the end of Memorial Day. [/quote]

I was really annoyed about the flag thing. I mean I though HH was fun but Still...and the gigantic switch was from the opening that morning. They had someone flip and and they let that "First Family" and a bunch of looney tunes in. There were streamers.
