Opening Day 2005!

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby coastercrazy111 on April 30th, 2005, 9:17 pm
Crowds: Very Light
Weather: Decent a bit windy
Ride Count:
RB- 2
Viper-1
GD-1
Superman-1
Batman-1
Triple Play-1
V-2: 3
Deja Vu- 1
Train-1
Whizzer-1
I Think I got them all LOL.

We got to the park about 9:45...it was not surprising that the park was so empty. We waited a minimal time before they dropped the chain. Everyone ran..we decided to WALK lol over to RB and changed our minds after we saw everyone flocking to it. We decided to go over to Deja Vu instead. There was a lady behind us wearing a Deja Vu Hat and Deja Vu shirt I don't know if its anyone from this site but if so let me know lol. That was an amazing first ride of the season! We then just basically played the rest of the day by ear and rode things as we saw them. We saw the Nascar in Imax..I have to say I was a bit dissapointed..I expected better. It was great to see the park again. I missed it a lot lol. Over all it was a fantastic day.

Next Trip: Possibly next weekend.

Nope, it is regular

I am too lazy to post my TR, so i'll give my ride counts

Demon - 5
Deja Vu - 5 ((There goes the floor, you're out the back door)AWESOME saying!!)
Cajun - 2
SUF - 3
BTR - 3 (Forced to re-ride front row, would not let us off)
Bull - 3
Viper - 2
AER - 2 (Shiney new red train!!)
V2 - 2
Whizzer - 2
Iron Wolf - 1
SSR - 1

BTW, I won the race to Deja Vu in the morning, SUF was not going to open on time, so we went to race to Vu. Me and Tom got row 1A

I saw lots of people, DejaVu The Ride, wOOdland, Papas, SFGAm Shockwave, SIC COASTER KID, Coasterdude 316, Chitown, Millenium force 4 life, and others too, I dont remeber who though.

Other notes, AEB has part of 1 train on its tracks, it is missing 1 car of one train, and the other train isnt on the tracks. STT and GASRW both have no spiels yet. Columbia got a new sign that describes the history. AE got its handrails re-painted.

Next trip: today
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer
Marathon down, Goofy to go.

Was she in line for 1B or what? If so it might have been me. Nice TR though. It was definitely a good day.

Deffinately LAFF we will meet up...me and my neighbor go a lot so ill let you know. Yes DejaVu she was waiting in line for 1b..I had on a backwards metallica hat...a oak lawn spartans hoodie...a grey jacket and blue jeans. The lady behind was an older woman. It was right when the park opened, because Deja Vu was our first ride. Also the lady was standing by herself.
