Do you guys/girls think that ghost and aliens are real, or do you think that there is no such thing? Have you had anything happen to you that might have shocked you?
Recently, a couple of weird things have happened. One of the them was the washing machine door open. I also have had a plastic fence (really small) fall from where it was. Of course, these could have been just because of coincidence.
I believe in aliens partly because I don't think people are that creative to make them up. The other reason is that I can imagine that there are more beings out there. The solar system is huge.
For ghosts, I also believe in them. The reason is because I think people might get trapped here. They can't leave, and go out of there bodies. The problem is that there are so many reports of both aliens, and ghosts that it seems like it has to be true evwn though it might not.
Anyway, what do you think?
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Well, considering the garage door opens up and down at 11:34(on a clock, turn this upside down ) every night and the electricity in our bathrooms go out on the 13th of every month, the computer screen goes red occasionally, and that I live on 13 dead end drive......
I believe in ghosts. I swear onetime a lady with wearing a dress from the 1800s or something walked through my room and through the wall.
And then there's this one road in my town that is haunted and it's really creepy. My friend lives right off if so whenever I go there at night it's really scary.
Onetime my friend's sister was speeding down the road around midnight because she was late for her curfew. Then all of a sudden something flew across in front of her car. She stopped the car, looked to oneside, and then looked to the other side and a boy wearing a red coat was sitting on a tricycle staring at her. So she quickly then sped to her house.
The next day she told her family what happened so her brother told his bus driver, who knows all of the stories of the road, that his sister thinks she saw a ghost on Rainbow Road. (which is the name of this haunted road) The bus driver then said that a speeding, red car hit a boy wearing a red coat on a tricycle around midnight one night. And she told this before the brother went into details. <== This is another huge thing that makes me beleive in ghosts. The sister's car was also red.
Aliens, however, I don't believe in. Even though onetime during basketball practice we all went outside to cool down and there was a huge circle light that was the entire aircraft, that was flying in the sky... And it couldn't have been a plane seeing as it WAS a circle...

You must have skipped Halloween as a child. (Ha, Ha/Just Kidding) As a popular phrase goes, " You don't need to see something just to know that it is there."
For example, I could tell you that Chicago has a building by Sears Tower. You might not believe me just by telling you, but it is in fact true. So, keep your eyes open.
If you have the travel channel, during October, they have many unusual stuff about ghosts. It should spook you. They even have a ghost bus tour in Chicago.

Actually, I believe in a different kind of ghost. The good kind if you know what I mean.
As for aliens. I come across many every day. In fact I go to school with them.
Aliens are of a different property or different race. In fact you are all an alien according to someone.
As for those with the UfOs, I sort of believe. You know that there is a never ending galaxy so there is bound to be a whole other different kind of race.
hrm... ok well this may sound stupid but there are evil and good forces in this world. I have seen and encountered ghosts on a regular basis in just about every place I have been to. I have even worked at a few places that were haunted before.
Rainbow Road is quite haunted in itself, but that old story about a "mafia" house being haunted there is kinda true. Some friends and I went in there one night to investigate and got chased out by some kinda bad energy.
The cemetery off of cuba road, white cemetery, is haunted too. I have photos on my computer somewhere that are difinative evidence. Someone remind me to put those online for you all to see. Oh...and I have had my photos published in a book called Chicagoland Ghosts. :-d
Anyone has any ghost questions or whatnot, I know quite a bit about them. I could give ya some advice.
oh, my friends were telling me about some ghost that lives in a cemetary. we were driving by and they were looking to see if there was a light on in the mosuleum. apparently this ghost turns the lights on when they should be off. I figured it was probably some janitor who didn't speak English and didn't know the difference between on and off, but I don't really know much about the whole back story so
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
well the main house was knocked down. There was still a barn, a caretakers house and some other kinda guest house thing I think that was still there. Of course this was like three years ago.
The house that was knocked down was definately haunted. My friend, who wrote the ghost book I was talking about, investigated that place with a few ppl and came up with some difinitive evidence that there was some supernatural stuff going on there.
Last I knew when I drove by the property, parts of the gate near the road were removed and it looked like there was some easily accessible areas in there. I know the cops still sit out there on Halloween and whenever a Fri. the 13th comes around they are definately there.
I wouldn't suggest going to White Cemetery alone or going at all during the night. There are some not so nice things that reside in parts of that cemetery, and the cops frequent that area due to the vandalism that has taken place there in the past.
I don't know if I believe in aliens, but I could buy into the existence of ghosts. I've had things happen to me before that I just can't explain logically, and I am the kind of person that needs an explanation for every thing.
hehehe... I have made believers out of my non-believer friends. Ghosts like me for some reason. Although its kinda scary when they follow you around all the time.
"I see dead people!"
Just had to say it myself before someone else does.... :-d
i definatley believe in ghosts. if any of you have ever heard of physic vampires, i had one enter me (physic vampires are little nasties that enter you and, if not banished, suck out your sould and kill you. kinda like dementors). my friends and i were playing with a ouija board and the two people next to me said the side of them that was next to me. they also said i was shaking really bad. i was freezing cold and i had a really heavy feeling in my gut that there was someone in the rom that we couldnt see. and as all goodie goodie stories go, we got rid of it and yada yada yada... so yes, i believe in ghosts.
i also kind of believe in aliens for reasons i dont feel like saying that involve and old creepy english teacher.
Well aliens maybe, like SFGAm Bob said, our universe isso frickin big, there might be extraterrestrial life out there, just not in our solar system.
For ghosts, YES. One time i was at a superbowl party with my best friend Bryce(we are both coaster freaks!)and i looked at the window(it was dark out side, about 9:00 pm) and i saw the scariest thing ever in my life! I saw a white face with no eyes just starring at me and my best friend. I WAS SO SCARED I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO.
Jenny is the ghost that haunts the Homewood-Flossmoor High School Theatre. She used to go there and was an actor, but she had some problems due to anorexia and died. She makes the lights turn on and off and likes to swing on the pinrail. She basically likes to bug the lights crew people.
My uncle stuck around a little bit after he died. I dunno where he went now, but he used to pay visits from time to time.
As for Aliens...Men in Black had a good point, but since they made a movie I doubt its true. And if it is true. We're probably that little ball on some cat's collar.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

Um, how does something stare at you if it doesn't have any eyes?
If anybody asks, I'm sixteen, I'm a runaway, and I'm pregnant.
in a way we have aghost in our auditorium... there's this realy creept mulit-colored painting of Shakespear in there and if b4 a show u say Macbeth or something and look at it, something's gonna go horribly wrong during thew show. i havent actually seen it happen but i've heard stories...
I kinda believe in ghosts. Sometimes things turn on randomly in my room without my help, and sometimes I hear voices in the hallway. Aliens I'm not sure about though. I don't know the pictures are really proof, we'll see one day.
ok, ur all gonna laugh at my aliens story but i feel like making pepole laugh so here goes...
like 3 summers ago, my friend and i were sitting outside because it was too hot in the house. i looked up at the start (it was obviously night) and i saw one of em moving... then i saw 3 moving! then outta nowhere a car drove by with a person inside that looked EXACTLY like my old english teacher. then i looked up again and those 3 stars had stopped moving. the same car drove by again and the stars were once again, moving. i just thoght that was too much of a coincidence and thus started believeing in Aliens.
