Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Carlo on January 18th, 2005, 7:00 pm
SFGAM did not say much at No Coaster Con. But here is a quick list of things that they said.

1. SFGAM is building a water park which despite the bad weather is still on Scheduled for spring opening.
2. They are looking for a new show in the Southwest Territory Amphitheatre.
3. SFGAM season passes will allow entry into both SFGAM and SFHH Chicago.
4. Déjà Vu is slated to be painted. They are not sure about any other coasters yet since it is still being finalized.
5. SFGAM had about the same attendance in 2004 and we did in 2003.
6. SFGAM gave over 1 million more rides in 2004 compared to 2003. (This means lines are moving faster.)
7. Customer Satisfaction went up 17% compared to 2003.
8. Check sixflags.com in the next couple of weeks.
9. The Pictorium with feature a new movie called NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience.

I hope they put something good in the SWT Amphitheatre like a stunt show or something. That 3d thing in the Pictorium should be interesting.

Yeah, I agree. Even though I have never seen it, I would still love to watch it.

Good that lines are moving faster, hopefully that continues. Can't wait til the new season starts...

Batman Stunt Show...or the Warner Brothers Western Stunt Show would be great to have back again. Even though I did like Espana Extreme show B last year....the circus stuff is getting old. Bring back the explosives!

As an update, SFGAm's website is updated with some info. As already stated, the park is opening on April 30th (full calendar not up yet). Also, the price for a 1-day ticket will be $44.99. There's info. about the 2 parks-for-1 deal, too.

The question asked was indeed about the Wilderness Territory, however I believe Mr. Sevart may have misunderstood and answered the question thinking he was referring to SW Territory.
