Okay, I'm sure this had to have been brought up some where else but, how come our superman has nine feet more of drop that Gadv, and Sfog? They are all 115 feet tall, but the other two supermans drop 100 feet. Probably not enough to notice a difference, but its there.... Why?
It probably has to do with terrain. SFOG and GADV probably have a hill or something right were the first drop should be. And they didn't take the time to remove it, because 9 feet isn't going to make a big difference.
it could also be becuase OUR SUF has an 8th car. unlike the other SUF's so an extra 10 feet were needed to get the train over the hill without it slowing down trying to get over.
but ill bet my explination is wrong.....
my other thought would be is that with 8 cars instead of 7 like the others. you need alittle more momentum to get the car through the track. i mean with an 8th car. its a heavier train. so could that be the reason?

Well the thing is... The more weight a car has (8th car) the smaller the drop is needed for to gain the same momentum that a coaster runing 7 cars would need.

Gah! No no no. A sseven car train does not need an eight car-ed trains momentum. It needs a seven cars train of momentum to get through the course. Ideally, a one car train would make it through the course just fine.
I know concepts just fine buddy. Train size does not matter. But for example...
A seven car train gains enough potential energy to climb the same height the seven car train was dropped from, neglecting air resistance and any other type of friction... same for an eight car. or a one car.... It gains the and looses momentum equally going up and going down.

I thought we all learned that statistics for a ride can be wrong... even on RCDB. Compare all three S:UF's on that site, and all facts are different for each one. SFGAd's has a 100 foot drop, and goes 60. Ours has a 109ft drop and only goes 50? I don't think so. And I'm pretty sure that theirs also only has two trains, and not three like RCDB says.
Bottom line is, never completely trust statistics released by Six Flags. After all, they are the ones that tried to pass a 185 foot Impulse coaster for only 150 feet at SFMW.

Rcdb is based completly on what the park says it their press releases.
