Da' Bears

A Off-Topic forum to discuss things that aren't related to the Amusement Park Industry.

Ok I decided to make a thread just for the Chicago Bears. They just lost to the Lions and the Bears got HOSED on that call in the endzone. After you have 2 feet in and possesion it should be considered a touchdown. I don't remember exactly what the ref said. Anybody remember?

The ref said something to the fact that he fumbled the ball around on the ground.(Which was after he had possesion with two feet in the endzone.) It was a sucky call, but I guess there's worse things in life to worry about.

Bears, Packers (very evil), doesn't matter. EAGLES are going to the Superbowl this year. YEAH. Poor, poor, Bears. I do hope that
Favre gets injured this week. hehehe.

Well the Bears season is finally over. Was it brutal to watch sometimes or what? The packer's had today's game won by the begining of the second quarter....pathetic.

I was worried after the Bears first drive. Honestly the first thing I thought after the big pass was "Damnit, now I'm gonna get chewed out on the world later tonight." Luckily though the Packer's really steped it up after that and came away with the 31-14 victory. I'm so worried about the playoffs though, The Vikings again. Each game has been close this year and I don't think the Packers have it in them to squeeze out 3 in a row against what seems to be their new rivals.

Too bad the Bears are the worst with draft picks. What positions does everyone think we should draft at? I say get the best Offensive linemen possible.

Hah. 9 sacks is absolutly terrible, against a half second string line nonetheless.

9 sacks? I didn't even realize the bears had the ball long enough to be sacked nine times.

The Bears I think were the worst team in the NFL when it came to allowing sacks. That should tell you something about the O-line.

Wait...Chicago had a football team named the Bears? I though that was
just a High School team! LOL!

More than just their offensive line sucked. It Terrell would learn to
catch a ball, that would be good.

He might catch a ball if his quartback could learn to throw something that didn't hop on the ground first.

66 times - Worst in the NFL. 2nd place is the SF 49'ers at 52 Sacks allowed.

Look I am a loyal Packers fan, but I love the rivalry between the Bears and Pack. I enjoy it when both clubs have evenly matched teams and end up at the top of the division (Packers 1st Bears 2nd of course).

The Bears need to fire Terry O'Shea - his play calling is absoulutely horrid, I mean who runs on 3rd & long. Why bother playing all 4 downs if you're going to call that kind of B.S.? The offensive line coach needs to join this idiot in the unemployment line.

Draft some O-line players or a fullback. Travis Jones could use a good lead blocker to get through some tight spots. Use a late round pick to get a new receiver - someone hungry enough to threaten the current receiver corps starting positions, thus making them wake up and do the job they were hired for. This would greatly help Grossman.

Get rid of Hutchinson - the black & blue division is not a place for a weak armed California surfer who is afraid to take a hit even as a back up.
On 3rd & 2 He had a clear path open up in front of him to easily get the the 2 yds and more. Instead of tucking the ball and getting the first down, He throws a slow pathetic pass resulting in another punt. My Grandma throws a football harder at the T.V. when the refs screw up.

Anyway, just my thoughts. Before anyone starts - Yes I am aware of the many Packer faults as well, but if you want to discuss them lets do it in a different topic, Okay?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

^Great post and points you made there. I believe the Bears just fired Terry O'Shea a couple days ago. On a side note: That Packers v. Vikings game was something else. Favre with 4 picks? Also did anyone esle see Randy Moss' display?

I saw Brett Farve go 22-32 for around 300 yards.

And I also saw a bunch of Packer recievers mess up.

What does every one think of the Bears hiring former Off. Coordinator Ron Turner? I didnt really pay attention to football when he was with the Bears before, but apparently there offense was decent when he was there, so it should be an improvement since the last two offensive coordinators.
