In park: 10:03 am to 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Started the visit with a trip to the newest ride Sliver Bullet. Greeted by an easy 20 min wait. Great station, custom PA system, all the workers were wearing cowboy hats. Great ride too, I especially like the 2nd inversion, RCDB says its a zero-g roll, but you don't flip over.
We then headed to Xcelerator, but took a detour to Jaguar! I love that ride, two lift hills and a long ride.
Another detour took us to La Revolucion, which was walk-on, but it took awhile to get the ride started b/c many were taken off the ride with either large shoulders or waists.
Yet another detour to us to Supreme Scream, which was a one ride wait. Great ride, but the bouncing after the drop is a waste of time.
Finally, I got to Xcelerator, walked right into the back row. I like the racetrack lights that tell you when the launch will be. Extreme airtime in the back. My mom and sister wanted to ride front row, but I went on again in the back.
They were still waiting so I rode boomerang, 2nd row. Good ride if you can avoid the headbanging. On the opposite side lift I saw Silver Bullet had a short line.
The line of Silver Bullet started in the station, so we went in the front row. Not as enjoyable, so again, but in the back row.
Then we went to Ghostrider, which had a few switchbacks open in the station room, waited for front row, which was great. I recommend front row to minimize the roughness of the ride, b/c you can 'brace for impact'
We took a leisurely walk to the back corner of the park, where we rode bumper cars. It's been a long time since I've been on bumpers cars. There were signs that said 'No head on bumps' which are the only fun ones. Also, a sign pointed infering that one should travel in a counter-clockwise direction.
We then rode Rip Tide (King Chaos) but I couldn't enjoy the ride b/c a bee landed on my leg, and stayed on for about five flips before it flew away.
We went to Calico Mine Train where we waited 35 min. I was ok.
We then went on Montezooma's Revenge which I love b/c it has no OSTR, very smooth too
We purchased Mrs. Knott's Famous Chicken and went back to the hotel.
Came back to the park at 7:30
Went on Ghostrider, which is great at night with rope lights along the track.
Then Silver Bullet, Montezooma's Revenge, and the Sky Cabn to finish the day.
Thoughts
-Short lines made for a great deal of rides.
-Much better theming and choice of flat rides than SFMM

The actual 2nd/3rd inversions is the Cobra Roll. I think you mean the highly overbanked turn? That thing looks insane! So how would you compare Silver Bullet, to lets say Batman The Ride?
The inversions go Loop, Overbanked turn, Boomerang, corkscrew, corkscrew. I didn't know how to explain the overbanked turn b/c you turn about 30 degrees, but it feels like an eternity that you just hang upside down, I've never felt that before. Comparing Silver Bullet to Batman, Batman has better theming but Silver Bullet is higher, longer, and has one more inversion. SB is over a much larger area than B:TR. Even with my fourth ride on SB I lost track of where I was on the ride. They both have the same kind of ending, swooping around and going through corkscrews (wing-overs).
Sounds like a good day. I wish I could get out to California. And Silver Bullet does have a zero-g-roll, right after the cobra roll. Looks like an awesome coaster.
Yeah, Silver Bullet goes drop, loop, overbanked turn, cobra roll, zero g roll, swooping turn, corkscrew, weird turny thing into the next corkscrew, upward helix into the breaks.
So Shocker, I meant which was better and why? Batman or SB? You just described stats and surroundings.(Which I already know.)
I'm done, I'm back here in Chicago. Maybe I'll go back to so cal next year, but that's only if I see some good deals, or if I get a season pass for 2005. I'd like to go up to PGA and SF Marine World.
Yeah, I have heard mixed reviews on Silver Bullet. I think it looks like an amazing ride should provide a somewhat unique experience.(Hopefully I can get out there next summer to ride this and other So Cal attractions.)
