It's Tues, Oct. 14th, and it's going to be a normal cold weekday when out of nowhere I get a phonecall from Galvan316.
"Hey!! Dave (Coasterdude316) and I are headed to Safariland about 6pm, wanna go?" I said "sure, why not, I will see you guys up there".
So off I head to Villa Park and the biggest indoor entertainment center in the Chicago area.
Weekdays are definitely cheaper than the weekends because we each got a wristband for $15 a piece.
We tackled the Tiger Terror coaster (and Dave got the credit), the indoor go-karts where Mike has a soft foot while myself and Dave are have the pedal to the metal flying through the course. Great speed on these cars.
Wristband included 2 games of bowling so we made asses out of ourselves. Got a 134 and a 112 which isn't bad for not bowling in over 2 years.
Took a couple spins on the Tilt A Whirl but we couldn't get the damn thing to spin. Oh well.
Some bumper car action was fun as well.
The coaster simulator really gave me a headrush and my shoulders were planted into the restraints when we inverted. One ride was enough.
Well, that's about it. It was a last minute decision and it does help the offseason a little.
Check the place out if you haven't visited yet.
