Loging In

When I go to the forums now, the last time I visited and the time now are the same. This only started happening when I switched from IE to Mozilla, how could I fix the problem?

That's weird, I use Mozilla and that never happened to me. I'm not sure how it can be fixed.

I switch between the two all the time to check compatibilty, and I'm not having any problems. Are you visiting the main site ( SFGAmworld.com ) first THEN going to the forums, or just going straight to the forums?

I know what your talking about Shocker, I had the same problem about 2 months ago.

What worked for me was if I just directly visited the forums, logged in, then refreshed the page. I just kept doing that until I guess the problem fixed itself.

Ok, for this has been happening for some people, and we have not been able to determine why, the simplest way around it is to just go straight to the forums at http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/ rather than going to the main page, I'm still looking into what is causing this, but its hard to determine since it only happens to some people, and doesn't occur all the time. Its a very odd problem.

Yeah, I get no problems when I use Firefox (which isnt often). But when I do use it I most likely checked the forums an hour earlier in IE.

I think someone already mentioned this, but it is because the News on the homepage is linked to the forums. If you're like me and forget to go directly to the forums, so that posts show up as new, log out, then log back in but don't select "Log me in automatically". If you log back in once you're in the actual forums, new posts will show up correctly as new.
