Shrek 2 was a great movie. It had only like 4 kiddie jokes in the whole film but the rest was hilarious. I mean them cracking on OJ was the best part. I can't really remember the whole thing unfortunately.
Oh jeez I saw that in the locker room from some crybaby Dem who printed it off. I mean I want to agree with it, but where in the world do they get the average IQ? Cos last time I checked everyone's IQ just isn't on file somewhere.
I'm not sure how they'd get average IQ's either, but I remember Jon Stewart saying something about how the states with the lowest performing schools voted for Bush. even that isn't totally indicitive of the average IQ as people can and do move from state to state.

maybe its because I don't really remember filling the census out all that well, but I don't remember there being a portion for people's IQ. plus, if you haven't taken an IQ test, there's no way to accurately report it for the census. I'm not saying its absolutely impossible, but I somehow doubt the gov't tracks people's IQs like that.

I was reading a thing about a survey that after doing some sort of research found that the smartest state was Massachusetts with #2 being Connecticut and New Jersey coming in third. This wasn't a political survey, just one to find which had the most knowledgeable people. I think that about 8 of the top 10 were states that went for Kerry.

There were gun fights, attempted suicides, and some things were a little naughty... But they did make some things PG. Like instead of using death they used termination.
The entire time my group was whispering "This is violent for a Disney Movie"!!
that seems flawed. using ACT/SAT scores, you're only looking at college-going students who, no matter where they are, are already smarter than the average person. that study is looking only within one subgroup of the population and does not accurately represent the average US citizen as a whole. it can tell you the average ACT/SAT score for a state and who that state went for, but that really doesn't mean much.
to really figure it out, you'd have to look at a single standardized test that everyone is forced to take. you'd also have to look at it over time. that alone would be hard enough, but your research question at that point is simply "How do people of varying intelligence vote?" that honestly doesn't tell you much as there are so many other factors that go into a person's decision while voting.

Another thing to put into persepective is...just because a state votes for Kerry or Bush doesn't mean every citizen is that smart or stupid. I mean this was a really close election in most states so think about that too.
Anyway, I think this whole IQ thing is some really crybaby induced crap to make Dem's feel better. GET OVER IT!
Oh, I'm over the fact that we lost...I just like poking fun at the idiot president we have in office and (gasp, im about to say this) the morons that voted for him. Honestly, I am dissapointed in this country and if I was financialy better off and older I would move either to Europe or Canada. Americans and their machoism, stupidity, and biggotism make me sick.

I didn't say the GIF was reliable. I don't think either of them are good studies (even though the one was a hoax, not a study).
yeah, I think we were all just waiting for Arafat to die after the news of his illness. I only hope the next leader wants peace and realizes its impossible to acheive with weapons.

I was watching Britain's House of Commons on C-SPAN 2 last night (I know, I need a life). If only our congress was like that. They have the Prime Minister just standing there and the other political parties just scream at him telling him what he has done wrong. He gets to reply, but he didn't do too good of a job defending himself. Everyone is much ruder than they are over here. I would love to see Bush come into our House or Senate and have all the Democrats tell him what he has done wrong nonstop.
I don't think that'd work too well as the Republicans control both houses of congress. plus, running from problems seems to have become the Democrats' motto as evidenced by what happened in Texas and now with all the people moving to Canada.
if the Dems wanted, they could yell at Cheney in Congress.

I saw a random crowd of people carrying the coffin that carried his body to his final resting place. I was worried because the casket almost fell over once or twice...that would have been bad.

So how did high school football go for everyone? My high school is going to Semi-State against Penn (huge South Bend school). Hopefully we'll win and go on to Indianapolis for the State game. Good luck to anyone else.
well I don't know how my HS football team did, but GVSU is going to Division 2 playoffs. we've been the champs the past few years so I'd say its a safe bet that we'll be D2 champs again.
