Is it just me, or does this seem to be out of place?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

...and why is it out of place anyway? It took effort to put it there (would need to be lifted over the fence). So it is not like they were moving them and ran out of time, and that one had to stay until after park hours before it was moved.

Out of Place?! FWIW..Picture was taken today 10/31/2004.

Was I the first to notice this piece of history that has appeared in "public view"? I know they have them all in the back lot, but this is in clear public view, and for no apparent reason.

I soooo noticed that today! Maybe it's a hint! Because I saw nothing scary from that! :) If only....

Its part of Fright Fest decoration. If you ride the Scenic Railway they have them there too with skeletons and monsters inside them. They apparently never got to this one.

Yeah, its just part of fright fest decorations, they have been using them ever since they took it down I beleive, I know they used them last year, they have a few of them right before hometown station next to the Pictorium.

I noticed it too, i was confused. Speaking of fright fest decorations, I thought that tower with the gorilla on it looked awesome when it was on 'fire' and smoke was coming out of it.

Didn't seem very scarey like to me, but okay.

Maybe if it was on its side with a dead mummy hanging out of it or something.

The planes looked like they crashed. This is a better shot of it just sitting in the grass between the bridge and RC, tucked behind the trees.

But...I guess I will just live with it being a "prop" for FF :?

Yeah I noticed that a bit ago.
Maybe it's suppose to be a symbolizism type thing, like it's a "dead" ride. Or maybe they just want to bring back memories.

I was at the park on sunday and my friend and i were talking about how much the safety has improved over the years. Look at the seatbelts on the two planes and you'll know what im talking about.

I remember having a blast when I was younger on those airplanes. When did they go?
