How would you rate the year for SFGAm this year. in my opinion they did great, except for the fact that Batman is Yellow. Its sad to see the park close for the seson.

I would rate the 2004 season a 9.5 on a scale of 10. The park did a GREAT job with the Mardi Gras section, and the Ragin' Cajun is just wonderful! I also had my first ride on King Chaos last weekend and absolutely loved it! And I also think Batman's new paint job and the way they cleaned up the queue line was great. Let's hope they give a new paint job to Deja Vu and American Eagle for next season...both really need it. Thanks for a wonderful season, Great America! :D
We should all remember to be thankful to have a world-class theme park like Six Flags Great America here in our local area!

Do I have to give a rating? The first thing that made me mad was getting KC instead of a Chance Chaos. The second thing was BTR refurbishment (for scenery and paint). The third thing was Triple Play not being open for a long time. The fourth thing is Condor being closed during FF while last year it was Triple Play.

The fifth thing was getting Stargate. This was the first year I only rode Space Shuttle America once. The sixth thing was the terrible parking because they are slow as molasses paving it (before). The last thing was D Vu groupers, and last week they locked the station, and then reopened it. Now that I think of it, Tim Black goodbye (Yeah!).

If we are just talking rides, and not management decisions, I would give the park 8/10, but it all has to fit togther with management, and rides. If I were in charge of the park, I would have never done Triple Play, Demon, or BTR because they were just fine.

If I would do anything with repainting, or refurbishing it would be Ricochet's paneling (where the black and white circles are), Fiddler's Flings roofs only (on cars), the tower on Condor and Condor sign (letters are out) (wouldn't touch cars, or arms), D Vu, and American Eagle.

If someone said paint IW, I would say why? It doesn't really need it. Some rides NEED it, while other don't really need it.
