the selected stores are the stores which decide to ignore their agreement to keep the game off the shelves until the release date. even if a store doesn't have copies on the shelves, ask the workers to check in the back. if they're dumb enough, they'll run back and grab you a copy.

A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
I got my copy at EB games in Rosemont, but I am sure that any EBgames would have it in stock. It was also in CompUSA's weekly add paper stating that it would be in stock the 28th.
Normally, I would be very excited to be one of the first to get this game, but after hearing reviews and complaints, I am going to wait until all the bugs are worked out. I can be patient.

Bob, seriously do you have some kinda problem with the human race? If you cant add constructively too the discussion then dont add to it. Man take a pill.
Having frmally worked for Best Buy, i can tell you this much, that electronics stores and discount stores such as Kmart, Traget etc often are the last places for games and software simply because of the high mark-ups these places issue on some games. EBGames for example will not charge as much for the game because the over head at there stores is less then that of say a Best Buy. Also, Sometimes the exclusive stores like Game Stop and EBGames are offical software outlets, meaning that they have specific contracts with the game manufactuers to release the game prior to the big chains.
Bob, I for one having worked in an electronics store for 2 years am greatly offended that you'd say something along the lines of "If they are stupid enough to do something." First of all, electronics stores like CC and BB monitor all the games that are sold during a specific day, if RCT3 for example came in on Oct 10th (Because it did) and I gave someone a copy on Oct 17th for example, i not only loose my job instantly, but BB also gets fined. So think before you flap your big gums.
Galvan, I know that if you would have worked at one of those stores and sold the product early you'd be in a heap of trouble...which is exactly why you'd have to be stupid to do it. that's all I was saying.

RCT3 Has some serious bugs in the game however, examples: Guests in the parks cannot ride the rides if the ride is on a different path then the main pathway of your park, also: The Stand Up,Twister and Floorless coasters only have 5 cars per train.

Okay Mike not to go off on you...but I've gotten tons of games from Best Buy before they are released. Battlefield Vietnam, Farcry, and C&C Generals are three big names that I got 2-3 days before I should have.
And from my experience, games are cheeper or at list price at KMart, Wallmart, etc than they are at EBGames or Gamespot. This is because a store like KMart sells so much other stuff they have no reason to mark up prices on games.

yeah, I read a whole thread over at CB about how there are so many things wrong with it. I'm waiting for a patch. or, I'll take my friend's copy and see if it works well enough on my computer. I doubt it though, as the demo was running slow on my comp.

I got the stupid game- and, guess what? It won't work on my computer! I just got the frickin' thing last Spring! I am not impressed with RCT3 so far.......
How much longer can I last until Opening Day! ARRRRGH!
If the demo didnt run, then dont expect the full game to work. Also the return policy on software is normally if it's open then they wont take it back.
yeah, but if you're specs are good enough and it still doesn't work, you should be able to get something, at least form the manufacturer. is there a tech support number you can call?
