Let us know how your day at the park was.

Since no one else wrote one orf this day. I'll write one.

We got there around 4:50, to my suprise there was a decent amount of cars in the lot, not too many though. Lines were about 5-10 minutes waits when we got in. BUt, towards the peak of the night they got aliitle bigger, not too bad, but I expected lightter crowds. Towards the night they got shorter as well. Now for the rides.

Batman: 3x - This ride was haulin today. By far my rest rides on it. I dont know hat it tis but it was insane.

AE Blue - 2x - Red wasnt running (big suprise)

Viper 1x

Raging Bull 1x

V2 1x

Ragin' Cajun 1x

Monster Mash 1x - All they had was some lights around thge ride op and some annoying music, nothing special.

Necroplois - 2x The characters were good as ausual but I dont like the setup for it this year, I liked it the other way around. Didnt get to go in Maus because we were low on cash, but next time we will.

Demon 4x

Overall it was an average day. The crowds were light, but not as light as last Friday sounded.

Notes: They added a new sign to the waterfall of KC. in my opinion it looks really cool. They also added more theming through out the park since my last visit. i.e. In Necroplos, and SWT. I only took 9 pictures. Mostly of new stuff in the site below.

It was a little busier this friday then last, but the weather was better. But the lines were short, except for Superrman/RB.
I dont know what happened by Fiddlers Fling, but a guy was taken off the ride in a stretcher and placed into a Gurnee FD ambulance that entered right by Iron Wolf. The person didnt seem to be hurt and the ride re-opened once the guy was gone so i guess he must have had some medical problem that wasnt a result of a accident.
And while at guests relations at the end of the day some guy came in and complained that one of the trolls twsited his arm around 845pm(he reported it at 1100pm)and he was in pain, seemed like a scam for some tickets for a future day IMHO.
All in all a good last day of the yr in the park.
And of course the green lawn oranment sat idle again.

Just a quick reminder:

Trolls (and other characters) don't go grabbing people and twisting their arms. We do defend ourselves when attacked by guests who want to shove us or pull the masks. I don't remember any incidents from Friday night, maybe the other Trolls do. It is very likely that some jerk got mad that he couldn't mess with us, and maybe got his arm touched as one of us tried to brush him away, and just wanted to complain for freebies.

Seriously, if someone really got hurt on the troll bridge, first aid is RIGHT THERE. You couldn't get any closer to first aid unless you were on the bungees and ladders. I don't care why you get hurt, if it happens at 8:45, you should get it checked then, not on your way out of the park at closing. If you can wait until after the churros and coasters, don't even bother hitting up GR.

NO character is allowed to touch a guest with the ONE exception of while taking photos or shaking hands. Similarly, no guest is allowed to touch a character in ANY way, excepting, once again, the above situations.

That being said, the characters still catch more abuse in any one day than most of us could possibly categorize. The creature crew like our jobs very much, and follow the rules. Many guests do not. Read some of the other threads in this forum (particularly "10/9 Awsome") if you'd like some idea.
