2005 Season Passes - Who has theirs?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Jamesb58 on October 25th, 2004, 8:03 am
Hey Everyone:

Another wonderful post by Jamesb58!! This past Saturday (Oct. 24),
Kiwigoodkid and I got our 2005 Season Passes (Combined GA and HH),
since the price was so low.

WARNING! THE $84.99 COMBO PASS IS FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY!
THEY SAID THAT THE PRICE PROBABLY WILL GO UP AFTER OCT. 31st.
We asked them about the price on Saturday, when we got our passes

Who in this forum, already have their passes? If you have yours, what
do you think of the design with Mr. Six on it? Personally I don't like it.
I'm not a fan of Mr. Six! But that's my opinnion!

I think I might buy my pass this weekend. Some of my friends already have them. They are yellow and in the upper left corner theres a picture of Mr. Six riding a coaster.

Season passes are on sale at the price, which will include HH for only $84.99 till 12/31/04. As, for combo passes, I don't think there is such a thing. What does it say on your Season Pass? Does it say its a Premium Pass or Combo Pass, or Just Says Season Pass?

Wait a minute..
So, right now I can get the combo pass for $85? Or is it $85 per park?
And if it IS $85 for the combo, this deal is until when? I re-read the posts and couldn't quite put 2 + 2 together for some reason (damn cold medicine making me all sorts of stupid).
Thanks!!

It is $85.00 for the Combo Pass (Great America plus Hurricane Harbor)
Apparently this deal actually ends December 31st.

As far as contacting SFGAm, the number I have is 847-249-1800

Prices are not going to change until after 12/31/04 .

When that date comes,(For you who are denying it.), the price will only rise to just around $95-$105. It will still be a combo pass and it will only be a combo pass. :)

If some of you would bother to go to the SF website, you will see that the current price is valid until Dec. 31st.

The main number is (847)249-1776.

A change of general manager won't have any effect on what has already been announced. You might be surprised to know that the Operations and Ticket managers have a lot more to do with daily operations than the general manager.

Sure he may have some new ideas but I seriously doubt he's going to come in and screw up one of SF most profitable parks.

BTW, ordered my 2005 pass renewal yesterday. Ordering online and paying the extra for shipping is worth the extra $$ since you don't have to wait in the processing line next spring. I only wish they would have had the Season Parking available online,

Hm, I really need some confirmation about if this park is going to be connected to oneanother or not. If they are connected I'll just go get my pass at SFStL.

I just got an email from SFGAm. It said the prices ended this weekend.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor FREE!
When you purchase a 2005 Six Flags Great America Season Pass during the final weekend of Fright Fest, you get Six Flags Hurricane Harbor included for free. Experience the brand new, massive Caribbean themed water park next to Six Flags Great America.

If you're part of the Six Flags Updates mailing list, you get it... however, I don't believe that email applies to online purchases of season passes, since it is worded in an attempt to get you to visit the park one last time this year, and to renew your season pass at the park.

On Saturday we asked the guy in the HH center, and he said he did not know if it will be one park or two parks. Then we asked how the regular Season Pass will work if it is two seperate parks and he said all the info is on the computer. That sounds odd to me.
It might be just one park and they are all keeping us guessing until they decide to tell us.
