SECURITY!!!!!

ok so im seeing all these posts from patrens, but none from the characters. so i figured id do it. This weekend was really cool. I had alot of fun. thanx to everyone who came to see the show. friday was cool, except for the rain. it wasnt even that bad tho. saterday was just crazy. We were on level two in Necro again. i hate level two. all i can do is sit on a fence and stare at ppl. but im sitting on the fence and some girl comes up to me, slaps my leg, and says do your job. the fact that she slapped my leg really ticked me off. So i went up to her and yelled at her for slapping me. I told her that she could get ejected from the park for hitting me like that. i think she thought i was joking, so she poked me and said "whatever" i said to her that i was not joking and that i could have her kicked out, and i said just don't do it again. does anyone want to guess what she did next. u guessed it. she poked me again. so i said im going to get security. she said something like "get security, they wont do anything. im on my way out anyways." and i dont remember what i said next but she shoved me. so i grabbed onto her arm and told her i was taking her to security. then she started to really violently shove me. so i grabbed her other arm and told her that she was out of the park. then while i was fallowing her to get security she kinda did this cross between a slap and a punch. but she hit me in the face. so i told her i was gonna presh charges and everything.

I finally find a security guard; you would think that there would be one around somewhere. DEAD WRONG. not a security guard in site. i had to walk all the way to the exit of necro before i could find one. its rediculus. im yelling in all directions "IS THERE A SECURITY GUARD ANYWHERE AROUND HERE!?" i found a JPM lead before i found a security guard.

when i finally found a security guard i told my story. and of course the girl and her friends told a different one. O and get this. they thought it was ok for her to push me and hit me and slap me, but it wasnt ok for me to grab her arm in self defence. They tried to get me in trouble for that.

i would have pressed charges on her, but the JPM employee (beef, i think it was your wife) talked to me about it and we realized that i had no witnesses. Because my brother was yellin at some other girl for punching him in the back. for no reason too. so i realalized that it would have been me against six other ppl that would have made up some bs story to get the charges dropped against their friend. so i told security i wanted something done about it. so they said that they would eject them from the park. But i knew that they were already on their way out. so i got pissed. and then the JPM employee told the security guard that if i wanted something done to her for it, they just took that chance away from me by taking her away. so he radiod the other guards and they talked it over with me and i got her banned from the park for the rest of the season and all of next season.

other than that i had a pretty good weekend.

Yeah I witnessed a problem on Sunday that really got me wondering where is someone to take care of this, I know security can't be eveyrwhere at once but what I saw was really serious and someone could of died....

So I was eatting at Angelos...when someone retard decides Lets hope over the fence and walk into the lock-out area of V2, he's in the water right under neath the ride (literally under-neath the ride, while it was cycling!) I was sitting there wondering how long is it going to take untill someone notices this reatrd is in a lock out zone. Nobody caught him, the ride ops didn't even notice, not that I am blamming the V2 crew or anuything but they should be watching for this kind of thing. He walk out like he was all cool, and I think someone should have noticed or something. I am not the kind of person that complains about are park at all, but come on! you have guest in your lock out zones for chirst sake.

BTW I has actually hoping someone would srop something on him for that kind of stupidity.

I'm sorry to hear that.. you guys really get abused there. I was thinking trash talking was bad but if you guys are actually getting slapped and hit that's just pure BS! The fact that the lead sided w/ her and not you is kind of unsetteling too! I saw on Saturday that machati clown grab a guy by his coat and drag him to security because he kept touching his knives. i was being nosey and trying to see if they kicked him out but they were talking to him for about 15 minutes and I got bored so I left .

Second: While I don't agree with guests touching or abusing you guys, you should know by grabbing them to escort them to security is the worst thing you can do.

You aren't the law so by you grabbing this girl, you pretty much made it null and void about pressing charges, getting her kicked out, etc.

I know emotions probably made you react, but you can't physically touch guests no matter what they did to you.

I don't know... I would assume that when you willingly enter a area that states "Don't touch the actors and they won't touch you" and you march right up to one of the charecters and touch them that kind of makes that agreement void. Anyone with 1/2 a brain would not do that though. I also saw one of the clowns dragging a guy by his coat to security on Saturday. He also gave this guy 3 warnings before he took him to security. I see what you are saying about pressing charges but not about getting them kicked out of the park. I can see if he hauled off and hit her but he hauled her off to security and she should have been ejected from the park immediatley because she is the type that from Necropolis will go straight to the clowns and mess with them, then the vampires, then the wolves. I agree that the charcters should never touch the guests but if the guests touch the charcters in my opinion it's fair game. Plus she did it allot more then just once.. he warned her and she dared him so she had it coming. Oh I'm sorry my name is not nightshade. I respond to these because I have been to Fright Fest practically every operating day and I just as a spectator see this everyday. It seems like there is no one single bad day.. they all are for the charcters. And that is very sad. They are there trying to entertain us and yet this is going on around them but every single person that I approached to introduce myself was still very friendly to me. Now those are some good people. Thanks to all that I have met and will be meeting. You all made my 2004 Fright Fest all the more enjoyable. I've met some great people this year.

And on another note, unfortunatley you JPM guys seem to draw that kind of stuff. I have also seen that the regular park employees really seem to think that the whole bunch of you arent very safe, or that you really dont care about working at the park.

OK this being based off an observation.. examples? Espically in Necropolois I see a bunch of people doing their jobs each and everytime that I go thru. I most certainly do not see them picking fights with the guests. I see them staring at guests, growling at guests, following guests and then I see them getting kicked by guests, spit at by guests, and grabbed by guests. Now how is that the JPM crew being unsafe? If anything I see the JPM crew being unsafe in meaning them being in danger of the guests. Like Saturday night when I walked thru and was talking to the twins I found out that they were on Level 2. I got to see 1st hand what level 2 is. I almost got trampled by these very same people that were pushing and shoving these charcters! They were pushing me. Mayor Slayor was in the midway and all of a sudden all of these people surrounded him and a JPM lead I think pulled him off to the side. I can see where you may say that the trolls are starting fights because they insult people but that goes along w/ the territory of the trolls. Like Saturday I approached some trolls that were not the friendliest people with me but did I go crying to GR about it? No because that is their charcter.

Ok, this is my take on that! If security won't do their jobs and prevent
this type of thing, then someone has to take charge. If he didn't grab the
persons arm, she could have ran off, and you would never see her again.

Let me ask this to you Chitown, if you were being "assulted" and harassed
and you wanted Security, but non were around, wouldn't you take charge
and grab the person harassing you and take them to Security yourself?

I know I would. I wouldn't take crap from people that harass me! I
totally side with Nightshade on this ordeal! I saw a guy get kicked out on
Saturday, aparently harassing the characters. I heard the security guard
tell the guy to not come back into Necro. If he does, he would be kicked
out to the park.

People need to learn that these characters are doing their jobs and NO
BODY has the right to harass them! There is no place in Necro or in
Six Flags for park guests who slap, hit and assult employees! So, overall
I believe that Nightshade was right for getting the girl to security and
for getting her removed from the park.

thank you punkbunny, i agree. all we do is what we are traned to do. sometimes it gets so bad, (like on saterday night) that we have to physicaly stop a person if they hit us or grab us enough. the reason being is that person is probaly not going to do that stuff just to you they are going to go to the next chactor and start the same b.s. over again and probaly worce because they got away with it last time. so if we do grab a person and drag them to security or the p.d. then its really in protection for the other chactors. and saterday was crazy. the reason that the security was no where to be found for a half-hour pierod was because a gang fight brok out somehere else in the park and they needed all of security over there. the guests where deffentaly taking advantage of it. i know this because durring that time i got GRABBED in a not- so- nice area by a guest and i tryed to go after him and his group but they where running( more like sprinting) through necro. so i grabed mike and we tore through nerco looking for them or a secrity gard but did not fimd eather. (i still thank you for helping me with that i probaly would have killed someone if you where not there holding my arm)... things like this just happen it sucks and im glad that we can all talk about it here but i have to stick up for the twins. i beleve that by my traning and what i have been toled to do BY the gurnnee pd that they did the right thing by takeing that person by the arm. i also beleve that they did nothing to out- of-line to provoke someone into hitting them. i work with them every day and i know that they go by the rules. so stop giving them sh... i mean stuff for it. wow. i got realy worked up just then sorry if it does not make to much sence

and also go easy on the security they do so much for us for the most part they do there jobs and help us out there are just a few that we have problem with but the rest i feel that they do an exclent job with protecting us to the best of there abiltys

There is a lot more security in there now but still not enough. These idiots come through there like they own the place. We will still do our jobs, which is to entertain the guests, but we will not take crap from anyone especially if they get physical. If you feel like you need to show off and say something stupid like "Your Mom" then fine, say it, but don't get mad at me when I tell you to get off moms cause I got off your last night.

If you are going to be stupid then fine but don't touch a character, it's that simple. Nightshade got to the point where he couldn't take it anymore and needed to get this person out. Are we supposed to just let it go? I think not.

It was really funny when some little stupid 12 year old came up to me on Saturday and started to push me with his body. What is this kid thinking? I am 6'7 270 lbs. He was showing off in front of his other friends. Well, surprise...Security was standing right next to me watching it....HAHAHAH See YA!!!

There are rules that we have to follow. Maybe that incident with Nightsahde went a little too far, maybe not. Sometimes you have to take a stand. I know I will defend myself if I have to. Someone hits me in the face, I just might hit back in self defense. I think Nightshade did good not to hit her. Sometimes not defending yourself is the most difficult thing to do.

I have a lot of fun doing this, so does everyone else that puts on the makeup and costumes. Don't be the idiot that spoils it for everyone.

And please, not everyone is as intelligent as you are ChiTown, don't come on here and give people a grammer lesson. If you want to follow the rules of the board then don't put curse words in your posts.

first off, no one cares if i have poor grammer. second, i didnt grabb her arm and drag her to security. i grabbed her arms to stop her from pushing and hitting me. it was all in self defense. its not like i hurt her. i just stoped her from hurting me. i wouldnt need to drag her to security. i just fallowed her until i found a guard, and if she would have run away i would have just chased her. sometimes u need to defend yourself if some one's pushing u and hitting u. tell me, if some girl is pushing u and hitting u, would u just stand there and take it? Or would u stop her from doing it? Think about that one buddy.
