Ronald Sevar will take over the job of gm at the park next season. For the past 3 seasons, he has served as the G.M. at Six Flags New England. He will replace the recently departed Tim Black.
That is much better than who I expected to get it. I thought the old SFWoA G.M. would get it. Six Flags New England is a much better park thatn Worlds of Adventure was. Also, SFNE has Superman: Ride of Steel, also known as the #1 roller coaster in the world, so he had to of done something right.

He's not the reason why they got S:ROS. He is probably the main reason why B: DK was built. But hey, now we all know why they play the POV annimation of B: DK in the batcave.
They played that last year too. That has nothing to do with it.
Im excited about this. This could bring a change to fright fest to make it in both hurricane harbor and great america. If you dont get why Im saying this, its because in sfne's new waterpark, they had a haunted house called nightmare island in there about voodoo people and jungle crap like that. When hes our manager, maybe he wil push six flags to make a scare zone and or haunted house in hurricane harbor.

Sounds great. Can't wait to see what SFGAm's future holds now.
Let's just hope we get a GOOd coaster, losing Deja Vu, but who knows what this guy'll bring, he seems good, but then so did Scott Skiles back in December

No one can tear down my ride
Don't expect it to happen any time soon. Hopefully we get a really good coaster in the coming years.
I think that Deja Vu will tear itself apart before it is able to be taken apart. If you remember during the season, the boomerang supports were shaking way too much, they fixed it temporarily, but I think that it will still have this problem.

I don't think this is good at all. You all said how Tim Black liked to see his park look nice and how families needed to have a good time. This guy is coming from a SFNE park that is suppested to have some bad customer service (even for a SFI park).
Regarding what Danhockey said about Deja Vu's supports I completely agree. Each time while queuing for DV this summer I heard a little more rattling up there until the point where I'm starting to get scared.
And Mr. SFGAM SFNE's Superman ride has gone from Red, to Pink.

Now that I think about it, this guy sucks. Hes only added one coaster in three years, and forget the waterpark add on. We're allready getting one anyways. S:ROS is fading, and Tim Black is the best general manager this park could have. Why is he leaving anyways? The only thing bad about him was bad ride maintenence at gadv, but i didnt notice that here.
I think we are giving the General Managers way too much credit for big additions to parks. Six Flags decides what parks get what. Sevart didn't make the final decision to which rides were added to SFNE. I think we will see no major changes next year besides for the waterpark. The park will most likely be run the same way as it has always been.
Also, for those talking about DejaVu, don't forget that the train had to be welded back together last year.

What a ridiculously asinine comment, Da rcman2001, i have some serious questions for you: What in the holy hell does adding one coaster over 3 years mean about anything? You are implying that since this new guy is in that we will get zero, diddley for the next 3 years. Jesus Christ Son, you cant be happy with what you've got? Look at a park like SFSTL they havent gotten anything worth fartting at for what is it now? 5 years maybe less, im not sure when Boss was added. Yet, you sit there and blab "This guy sucks, blah blah" well i can tell you where to put that comment... how about right along with the other retarded things that have been said on this forum the last couple of weeks. Now granted, i have said some stupid crap on this board, somethings im not neccesarily proud of, but Jesus Christ, the man isnt even at the helm yet and you already want him demoted to head of the parks janitors.
My question is why is our current manager going? Is it because he keeps on spending money like crazy? For the SROS ride, the paint fading wouldn't have anything to do with the manager (Intamin). Also, where is he going (fired?)?
For D Vu, give me a break about the shaking. I would have to believe that the noise is coming from the stairs. The coaster goes past it, and the stairs vibrate because they are so close to it. Poles wouldn't be making that. If you notice when the train leaves, the noise is gone, but the pole is shaking a little bit. People probably complained about V2 and they had to add extra supports and for what reason?
