LAFF filled day 10-17-04

Let us know how your day at the park was.

We did not do a single coaster today...I was kind of pissed about that, but it was a good fright festy day anyway. We started with Terror Twister, which is definatly not as good as it has been in previous years. We were gonna do Bull but the line was too long and we wanted to catch a Love at First Fright Show in aobut a half hour, so we quickly did River Rocker and headed over to LAFF. It was a great show. The people next to us were really into it, they knew all the dance moves and were singing, which would normally annoy me, but i was singing too. I love LAFF. It was the 1:00 show, was anyone there, we were sitting right in the center of the catwalk.

After that we met up with a friend and did Hellevator. It was okay, nothing really special. We did another quick River Rocker, and did Revy too. Then we went to Necropolis. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! I got pics of a bunch of SCAREacters so Tafaba, necropolisGD, and trolls check out my website down there V (Hit the WWW key). Then we went through Mardi Gras, and did Rue Le Morgue which is much better this year than last year.

The person we met up with didn't get to see the first LAFF, so I went again. This is my third time seeing it in one weekend! It was great though.

So even thought we didn't ride any coasters :x :x :( it was still a fun day.

I thought LAFF stood for the word, not Love at First Fright. I'd rather be riding Bull than seeing a show, even if the line was long and the show was funny. That's just my opinion.
How much longer can I last until Opening Day! ARRRRGH!

Did you actually see the show mr. deja vu.

If not, don't pass judgement. I like coasters just as much as you but this show is worth seeing especially if the park is packed.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

How long were you there? Was D Vu open? What was open, and what was closed? Sorry, for asking all these questions.

I was only there for about five hours and we spent most of the time wandering around. the flats were all walk-ons but the coasters were all packed and we had limited time, it just kept not working out.
^no, Vu was not open, and only condor, Sky Trek Tower, Trailblazer, HTFM, and the water rides were closed. Normal fright fest stuff.

Ah, yes, but I have five months to ride the coasters and only one to see LAFF. And in case you didn't notice from my sig V, I love LAFF.

which of the shows did you go to??? I went to four of the shows on 10/16 3:00, 5:00, 7:00, 9:00. I guess I see it so much because i know several of the cast members, and I am one of those people who sat next to you who knew the dances and the words to the songs. Hey, maybe I even sat next to you.....

Binks Drake - You said all water rides were closed, does that mean Blood River was closed? I havent seen it open at all this FF season. Any one know why?

Blood River was open last sunday for awhile, we did it shirtless

One of the best trips ever on there but...

1) They need to PUT MORE RAFTS ON!!!!

2) Where are the zombies that used to be strapped into some of the boats?

Do you mean two weekends ago? Because Blood River did not open once yesterday. Also as said before Deja Vu was closed due to "Weather Conditions?" and AEB was closed for a good portion of the day. I had a similar experience in the park like Binks Drake. I only got on about 5 or 6 coasters but still had a great time. I got to see my first troll sacrafice and went into the Mauseleum. Ended the night with three AMAZING Batman rides including 1 front row ride and 2 2nd row rides. It seemed like the train was totally flying off the tracks, I was breathless!

Crowds were quite heavy, it was the longest I've ever seen Raging Bull's line in my life, I figured they were only running 2 trains if the line built up that much but they were actually running three incredibally efficiently. The ride ops were jogging to their posts and everything after checking restraints, I was impressed. While I was in the station they didn't let the next train even make it to the transfer track before the sent the next train.
