10/9/04: Fright Fest

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Yesterday me, Drkstarboard, and some friends went to the park. We got there at 10:30 and when we entered the SUF line was 1 and a half hours, so we passed that up. BTR was next. Back row- GREAT RIDE! Next was Iron Wolf. Short line, and a banging good ride. We had noticed that Deja Vu was open when we arrived, so we headed over but the line was 2 and a half hours. Passed that one up. Next was Revolution- no wait for a great ride. We headed back to Eagle Blue- good but rough ride. My friend wanted to go to SUF, so we headed over. By that time (3:00 or so) most the monsters were about- she was terrified. SUF was a 90 minute wait- well worth it to see my friend's face in the pretzel . I think she was feeling confident after that, so we went to BTR. Row 4- not my fav, but good for beginners. Drk and his friends left after that, it was 6:00, so it was just me and my dad. We headed over to Mooseburger and on the way a clown with knives scared the heck out of two teenage girls. It was dark out, so we headed to the Bull. The wait looked enormous, but it wasn't bad at all. UnBULLeivable ride. We rode the Eagle backwards one last time (he had never ridden Blue) then played some games. I got an awesome hoody and we got my little brother a Superman action figure in Heroes. By the time we left it was 10:30.

Ride count: BTR:2-Iron Wolf:1-Eagle Blue:2-SUF:1-Bull:1

HH: The dirt pile was huge, I hadn't seen it yet. They had signs at points around the park explaing what the waterpark would be like.

well yesterday I had to march in the homecomeing parade, but after that I went to SFGAm like around 1 and it was tite as hell. First me and my cuzin went der and we went on King Chaos sine it was open. We saw the clowns at Mardi Gras they were cool basically the ones like last year in country fair. After that we went to the path for Necropolis since wanted to get scared. And they have a deal two haunted houses for $10 it was wroth it. I get scared easily so if anybody was there and you saw a boy running with a red shirts thats me  We went on Iron Wolf, then to that other haunted house. Its good if you get that discount. Then eat, triple play. Other haunted house, saw my friends hung around them then batman and left. But we took a long time because we were messing around with the monsters. Fright Fest got good this year.

It is always packed every Saturday of Fright Fest. Especially opening day. And if you were judging DejaVu's line by the wait time sign that says 2 1/2 hours, then you could be mistaken.(Well you could be right if the line was spilling out of the queue with all switchbacks filled and a line formed up to Farmer's Market.)

What was Batman's wait time?

It wasnt really that packed in my opinion but at the night for the haunted house that was packed...you have to go at night

We waited for like an hour and a half, less and we rode front row.
