2004 Cleanliness & Landscaping

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I would just like to say that Great America has done an excellent job this season to make the park feel much more clean and beautiful compared to the past few years. Each time I visited this year, I noticed new flowers in different areas and much less litter and gum in the ride que and stations. It also seemed that many of the buildings, rides, and signs were repainted, giving the whole park more liveliness.

Improvements in these areas were a long time coming and hopefully were appreciated by everyone who visited this season. Good job!

I too have noticed a great improvement in the landscaping. Much much better than last year. Every time I would go I would see more and more plants every where, and in places that need some. Like in SWT they put alot of those bushels with flowers in them that added a nice touch.

The grass in Viper's line was mowed. So was the gum on the trees. Good Job SFGAm =)
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Everything has definately been an improvement from previous years, but that area near DDD, Splash, and Raceway could use some landscaping/cleaning. That area always looks way overdue for some attention.

I'm very happy with the new landscaping flowers etc.. I love the wagons in viper's Line, I just think that's one more thing that helps the experiance. I think they do have one deficit- County Fair, It really isn't themed at all.

Yeah, the park is looking great. I've seen someone working on landscape or painting every visit this year. The only problem is that some of the garbage cans in queue lines can get full and just create a mess.(Especially at the end of the night.)

I totally agree. When I'm on Raceway I think that I should be surrounded by pretty flowers and stuff like that.

They should've mowed it the minute they noticed it was a foot long! :)
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I totally agree with everyone else. The park looked beautiful this year! Everytime I went, something different had been repainted! Viper's landscaping is excellent, and Mardi Gras looks beautiful. :D

Like everyone said, now it's time to focus on the Splashwater Falls area.
Finally Coaster Season!!
