Mr. Six Fright Fest

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I went, shaved my head too. I was part of the JPM 'sixes. I have pictures but I will have to scan them....

As for it being an advertisement, yes it was. That was the whole purpose. That is why they had ALL the local media there. They held a contest so that people would come early and enter it and get on tv.

Mr. Six was there a lot longer than 5 mins. He was carted back and forthe between the backlot and the camera. It was very hot that day, he would have melted.

There was also a parade AFTER the park opened. We also rode RB with camera attached. It was definately a promotion day. In fact, the advertisment was "Mr. Six Promotional Day" hmmm.... Guess that would mean it is an advertisment.

It was a lot of fun. I can't dance either but it was fun just acting like a fool.

^ For the people who were not in the contest, we didn't see him after he did his dance at the front of the park and rode the trolley back to Hometown.

That is correct. It's because it was a media day. Which is a form of advertisement. It wasn't built up to be a "50,000 people get to meet Mr. Six" day but simply a look alike contest and media day. It was fun regardless...
