How much does it cost to run the roller coasters and the major flats(Giant Drop) Oh ya and does it really cost the park $50 to run V2 once?

It's hard, if not impossible, to pin a cost on how much it is to run a particular ride. You have to look at energy consumption (electricity) wear and tear on parts, etc. The rides aren't outfitted with the type of electric meters you and I would find on our house, so its difficult to say how much energy is being used.

I'd think $50 bucks would be rather low per launch of V2, though it'd depend on current energy costs.

Most rides though, cost is just however much electricity the ride uses, then the basic maintaince costs.

Well I will tell you something cool, that I hope you didn't know!
I know that you think that it takes a lot of money to support (energy etc.) Giant Drop! But NO! It doesn't,.
How do I know? I asked my phisics teacher and he said that Giant Drop takes energy only when it pulls- up the "sits" that you sit on. When it reaches the top! The energy is of, then you fall down! Now you are confused!
Why do they turn off the energy? It's because inside the tower, there is a very long Spiral made from steal! And If you know. When you are falling down. The magness (your sit!- it's partly made from magness), slows down form the begining ro the and.
How doeas it work with magness?
When magness fall down and it's side to the spiral. The spiral takes it's energy, and it slows down!

Any questions? Please write!

I have no idea what you just said. But i know that you have some idea what your talking about. All i know is that it uses magnets.

You can tell the season is ending soon when we're having topics about power for rides and new rides for the future.

Yeah, there isn't too much energy used after the 'lift' to the top, but I doubt your Physics teacher knows how Giant Drop works. It doesn't shut off it's energy supply.

Wow T.K I can't believe your in a Physics class and can only spell like that.

I actually believe FParker had a great post on here a few months ago about how Giant Drop worked, I'll try and pull it up.
