Ive almost seen a few fight starts while standing in line and somebody trys to stop a linejumper. I had to write up a witness report one time for a fight I witnessed. That's why I won't say anything to the linejumper themselves, but ask a employee to get security to remove the linejumper. I can't believe so many people just let the linejumpers go, or we even had it once that people in line were mad at us for "tattling" on the linejumpers.
Everytime I start going up the stairs while queueing for Batman this thought always crosses my mind: "Wow, what if a big fight broke out in here, that would suck."
That really would suck...

If you are going to approach line jumpers that way, don't do it. Most people will not listen to a stranger, and will argue with them, or even go further, like what happened at Valleyfair.
The best solution is to call out "linejumpers!" and attract attention. Don't try holding your arm out to block them, especially if it is younger kids. They may not realize that if you leave the line, you can't get back in line.
If an employee doesn't do something to stop the linejumping, report him/her to management that day. One story I have occured at Raging Bull this season. A group of riders had waited in the regular line, and were about 15 people past the FastLane line. Their four friends came to FastLane, and the attendant let them cut the 15 people to catch up with their group, and I was one of those 15. I wasn't necessarily happy, but I never ended up reporting the employee. The FastLane users claimed (to the attendant) that the people they cut wouldn't mind, and they sort of shouted out something like "Hey everyone! Can we catch up with our friends?" No one said anything, so they just went ahead.
I was first to deja vu and my bro behind me and then this kid cuts my bro and then walking to row 1a he cuts me and i started going off on him and the ride op was just looking at me and i wasnt being quit about it. Then im like line jumper shes like ur going to get on the ride anyway i was like so he cut me.She didnt do anything about but he ended up going behind me.
I was line jumped in line for Batman once, i yelled line jumpers and they almost crapped their pants when the security guard came. That's the best thing to do.
I flipped out at some ghetto people trying to look intimidating trying to jump right in front of Nolan and I in King Chaos' line yesterday....anyone who thinks they're visually intimidating enough to jump right in front you needs to be sent back.
Also later that day some guy jumped into a thornbursh trying to line jump, it was so funny I had to let the guy go with his party .
Damn thats just not right. here is what i think, they need to put up a fence or something along the outside rails of que lines, preventing line jumping, people cut inline for De Ja Vue all the time and V2 as well, they need to put up some kind of higher rail that people cant climb under, through or over. yep yep
Not really line jumping, but while waiting in line for RC, it broke down for about 30 min (back in June)
Anyhow, a group of people were close to the front and decided to leave the line since it wasn't really being fixed too fast. Anyhow as they leave their spot and begin walking towards the exit, the ride starts up again and they demand their spot in front again becasue they already waited 2+ hours for a ride.
Basically, the people wouldn't let them get back in line, they talked to the op and he then let them get back in line when they were before they left. Nobody could argue becuase the op said they could go there, but many people still thought it was unfair.
Yeah i just got my computer to work, but i think that people should have stuck up for them. I only yell at line jumpers if they're women or littler than me.
Is confronting a line jumper truly worth it? I am now going to think twice before confronting line jumpers. They may just beat me up.
Yes it is worth it, if someones gonna beat you up their being stupid for breaking rules then resorting to physical action....honestly if someone tried to beat me up i'd stand there and let them, their the ones being tards and are gonna get tossed/prosecuted. I've had many methods of working with line jumpers, for one if their kids and want to meet with their parents I let them, just seems like sort of an ethical thing to do . In the past i've normally just reported them to a employee, i've only flipped out at someone once , or if they jump in a thorn bush trying to line jump I let them go cause it's worth the entertainment .
