Did you all catch Bush's speech at the RNC last night? I loved it. I liked Kerry's little midnight rebuttal too  Kerry doesn't stand a chance.

I wouldn't call it a speech so much as a collection of soundbites. 1-5 lines max, pause for cheering, repeate. I didn't catch Kerry's rebuttal, but I watched a bit of the news channels' guest opinions things. maybe Bush'll win, maybe he won't, but I have a feeling that, either way, Sealab will make more sane decisions than the US the next 4 years.

who knows, I may even vote Nader just to see if they can't get equal funding next time around.

Bush's speech was great but Zell Miller was the highlight of the RNC. And about Bush saying about 5 words then pausing...mmm lets talk about Kerry saying the first word of every sentence about 4 times because he doesn't know how to wait for the crowd to stop cheering. I thought the RNC was alltogether, a lot better than expected.

Today Bush's speach was probably only 20 minutes long...but with all the cheering it was drawn out to about an hour...

Anyways, in other news today the Whitnall Falcons stunned a crowded at Waukesha North tonight with a 23 point comeback in the second half. The winning field goal was made with 19 seconds left by the now famous Freshman Alex White.

I'm not interisted in Bush's administration's biggotry and anti environmental propaganda. I'd gladly spit on both of them...Twice.

did you see the RNC? there were people pulled out of the building for just wearing protest signs and yelling at Bush. if you spit at Cheney, expect to spend some "quality" with the SS.

I'm all for protesting, but find something that isn't going to embarass you and your fellow protestors and diminish the power of what you have to say.

as an example, Ted Nuget spoke at my school last year and lots of people were sitting there for a good portion, but then just got up and walked out in the middle of it. if you could organize a group of protestors to walk out all at the same time, it might turn out to be a much more powerful and more respected statement.

Vietnam was a tough war, that's probably why instead of fighting, Kerry left and started protesting the Vietnam War

uhh...has anybody checked their calendars recently? Vietnam is over. why are we discussing what those two idiots did years ago? there are more important, and recent, topics that concern them, like...umm...oh yeah, the *current* military operations going on around the world.

I may sound stupid but, how does fighting in a war or not decide whether or not you would be a good president for These United States. I'm just not seeing the connection. Would someone please shed some light on that for me? My uncle fought in Vietnam and received a purple heart, but you don't see him saying he should be president because of it.

In John Kerry's case his milatary records are questionable. We are currently goiong through a war at the moment in case you didn't know.
Since he has questionable milatary records he might make questionable decesions to the war which could lead to the security of this country being in jeopardy.

have you checked the security radar recently? there aren't any countries that are threatening us. the greatest threat to the country at the moment comes from terrorists who you can't really fight a war against. pretty much everybody who actually matters has agreed that attacking either man's Vietnam record is pointless, god only knows why people still bring it up.

If you'll notice, I said LEAD not that they are happening. Don't you realize Bush is trying to get all the terrorists NOW? So that history doesn't repeat itself? You know if you were one of those families who had loved ones die in the Twin towers you'd want Bush to rid the world of terrorism wouldn't you?

Bush gets looked down upon for sending 600 soldiers to their death in Iraq; everyone complains. 1.5 million+ children are aborted every year. I hear not one complaint. :?

Exactly. Who is going to stop it? Who do you think? Bush. The war is to save even more lives. He's not the one who flew a plane into the WTC.

if I had loved ones that died in NY, I would want people to stop using their names to spread violence and hatred.

you don't hear anything about abortion because of society's current values and one man cannot re-socalize an entire country.

the war on terrorism should be a low-key hunt for terrorists, not widespread bombings of innocent countries and people who, given time, will grow to hate the US for killing their parents, siblings, and friends who had nothing to do with terrorism.
