Clear Channel End of Summer Party

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby coastrcorey on August 30th, 2004, 11:31 pm
IT’S AN “END OF SUMMER PARTY” ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH (5 PM to 11PM)! Join your favorite Clear Channel Chicago radio stations KISS FM, V103, WGCI, WLIT, WNUA, Gospel Radio 1390 and Real Oldies 1690 for an exclusive event at Six Flags Great America. This is an event for Clear Channel Chicago radio listeners and their families to celebrate the end of summer. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold for faster ride lines and more fun. KISS FM will be broadcasting live from the Park. Don’t miss it. SEASON PASSES NOT VALID FOR THIS EVENT

Tickets cost $20.99... Sounds like it'd be fun, not sure if I'd be able to make it though. Anyone else thinking about it? Saw it at the SFGAm website if you're wondering. http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatamerica/

Ill only go if you think the ride lines will be down. I think that the 10th is a weekday. So i cant go. But that would be awesome with no lines. Next year im going to one of the early events in april for six flags.

It is a Friday night, and there is another topic on the bottom of this page. But since no one really talked in that one, this one is cool.

So anyone here plan on going?

Hmm, I want to go but I doubt I'll be able to. I'll ask my dad about that.

No, it's a Friday. I don't think the crowds will be that bad at all, especially since they're selling a limited amount of tickets.

I got back from teh park yesterday, and after talking to Jenna from Bull, she said that the buyout on Friday was cancelled because she got a call telling her that they cancelled it. They didnt know why, Papas was there too to hear this.

They probably couldn't sell enough tickets.

Think about it. I know they were advertising on the radio, etc., but it seems sort of pointless to e-mail season pass holders and say "Even though you can get in any other day of the year for free, don't you want to pay $20 to get in for 6 hours on a Friday night?"
