Medline Sunday - 8/29/04

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby coastrcorey on August 30th, 2004, 3:39 pm
Well, yesterday was insane. There must have been some Medline company picnic at the park because everyone there was wearing Medline t-shirts. They were all there before the park opened. The lot was already really crowded when we arrived... It only ended up getting more and more crowded as the day went on. The overflow lot was even quite a bit full.

Lines were pretty long in the middle of the day unfortunately. Earlier on they weren't too bad. I'm still waiting to get a day that isn't very crowded, ugh I've been pretty unlucky this season that way.

My uncle works for Medline. He is the Wisconsin sales representative. Because he lives up in WI he couldn't get there in time for the ERT. He says that almost everyone there was a factory worker. Very few came from the office.

Just curious, what part of the overflows was being used? Also, how was the construction with the paving in the back lot going?

/\ Yes the overflow was being used, they only had a tiny section of it open in the corner, the rest of the overflow lot was closed.

Heh, glad I decided to go Saturday instead. Cause of the bad weather people decided to go Sunday instead (by the way they closed an hour early Saturday, pretty much all of the stations were empty), and things were running good capacity.

the crowds are usually not crowded, but it was because of the Medline people (that took the season pass entrance in the morning, and made us wait longer to enter) it was crowded. The parking lo, when I pulled in at 9:00 was 3/4 full, which is very crowded for that time because there is usually only 6-15 cars in the lot.

By the way, East River Crawler opened Friday (they built a new fence around it).
