Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Someone that has a video capture card might be nice enough to get it for you. I don't have one, so I can't help, sorry. And Corey, it's 26, plain and simple, be it cable, broadcast, or digital cable (and I think DirecTV now has Green Bay networks, or will soon.) I say this because we are probably the only 2 here who get the networks out of Green Bay. If these people want to see if there is anything on their websites, they will probably pick up an affiliate who-knows-where if they google for it. So there you have it, thats why it's 26, plain and simple. They don't put 7 on their website, so if these people want to see if on media day there is any coverage on the website, they won't ever find the website! Chiatrain himself shows how you using the wrong number can be confusing.

Here NBC is channel 12. It doesn't come in very good, though. We don't have cable, just an antenna. And also 11 and 55 are FOX, 9 and 2 are ABC, and 7 and 5 are CBS.

I doubt any report on Superman will air on NBC all over. I usually watch the morning news shows in Chicago, so I'll check it out Monday if they have previews and whatnot. WGN in Chicago did something 2 years ago with V-2 and a few years ago with Raging Bull. Either way, any report would probably be 3-4 minutes long, with perhaps a shot of people riding.

Ok, to avoid confusion, I e-mailed some news stations in Chicago to see if they'll be doing a SFGAm segment this coming Tuesday. Albeit, they might not be able to reply. So, as I said earlier, I'll check out Monday to see what's going to be going on, if at all, for Tuesday.

Too bad I couldn't post this earlier, but walked in just in time. On Fox Chicago 32, they had a two-three minute segment on Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. Since we're talking about SF report, this might interest some people. They showed a dummy (5'9, 170# representing an average male) testing out the ride. Unfortunately, if you know the layout of the ride, the coaster did not make it all the way to the top and came back down, going up there at 120 mph. Hopefully, this would be fixed by opening day, which is coming up in a few short days. So, I'll look out again for some report on S:UF on the same channel and others as well. I have this report on tape but have no way of getting it online. Also, got the chance to record that Jewel/SF commercial, too.

For now, I think that's the only commercial that's out there. But, I'll be on the lookout for more.

Six Flags is really slacking on the commercials this year, I remember seeing them back in January last year.

Well, I said I'd check out the local Chicago networks. And, this morning, Fox Chicago 32 announced that they'll be live from SFGAm tomorrow, Tues. April 29, sometime between 7am - 9am. That's all I have for now.

Ok, another update on Media Day coverage. WGN Ch. 9 in Chicago is sending the weather-guy Paul to ride S:UF at SFGAm. I don't know if he'll be doing the weather from SFGAm, as the news show is from 5:30 am - 9am. But, he'll be doing a report at SFGAm and advertised he would ride S:UF. So, check that out and also Fox 32 Chicago for their reports.

Spotted a second "official" SFGAm commercial in the Chicago viewing area. This one seemed to focus only on S:UF with the theme of "Now Man Can Fly." No Jewel-related stuff, although I only caught the tail-end of the commercial, showing the coaster with riders(most likely not shot at SFGAm).

I saw for the first time today both the top six reasons commercial (only here it was saying to buy your passes at pick 'n save, not jewel), and the one that focuses on superman. I must agree that the commercials last year were sooo much better.

I saw a whole bunch of them yesterday, the only two I'm positive I saw them on were ABC and CBS. And I think there's actually two different superman ones (besides the one with the six reasons).
