I was just at Noah's Ark on Wed, Aug 20. Anyway, I came across an interesting sign while I was walking around. It read, "Coming in 2005! The Rocket! It's gonna be a blast!" To most people, that probably wouldn't mean much. However, only one thing popped into my mind. A Master Blaster from NBGS (aka Schlitterbahn)! I'm very happy with their decision (if it really is a Master Blaster). Any ideas on what else it could be? This would be a great addition to the park. Those rides have great capacity and are crowd pleasers. Knowing the Ark, I'm certain they'll build more than one of these monster "water-coasters." The only question is: Where? If I had to guess, I would say the parking lot right next to Noah's Incredible Adventure. I can't wait to ride it next year!

it could be a WhiteWater West Zip Coaster, it's similar in concept to a Master Blaster exept instead of water it uses a high speed rubber conveyor to launch boats (and there are several of these conveyors along the course), I know the first one is being built this year but I forget where, it looks very cool with actual hills and drops and all. Basically a launched waterslide.

This is the ride that I thought management was leaning towards. It think it will be a Zip-coaster. This addition(whether it is a Zip-coaster or not) will be a great one!
And people, please don't say that this is a plan to not loose attendance due to our new waterpark. This has been planned since last year.(The addition of a new water attraction.)
Where did you see the sign? I remember seeing one for the Point of No Return the year before it was built.(The sign was in it's current location.)

I saw the sign right next to the Flash Flood gift shop, right next to the bumper boats. Though, I can't imagine the ride being there because there's no room.
If you want to see the zip-coaster, go to http://www.whitewaterwest.com. I have my doubts about Noah's Ark choosing this over the master blaster because this ride doesn't even get you wet. Noah's Ark, being a waterpark, would like to get you soaked! Unless of course they go back to the people who came up with their 2003 (excuse for a ride) Noah's Incredible Adventure! I sure hope they go with the NBGS version!
