It was raining pretty hard in the morning, but I arrived at the park at 2:30 and it never rained once. It was more crowded than I thought it would be, but by about 5:00 or so the crowds had let up. The temperature was in the upper 60's maybe. I actually like this weather for Great America, it's just perfect with a hoodie or jacket, and it's not crowded. Most rides were less than 20 minutes, however, Demon and Batman were longer than usual.
I rode American Eagle most of the time, since it was a walk-on the entire time, with empty rows on blue. On the last ride of blue for the night, some teen's lapbar popped up on the drop, and instead of pulling it back down, he decided to take off his seatbelt and stand up through the entire helix! Obviously, we can all agree, I hope, that that's just plain stupid.
I also got rides in on Viper, Raging Bull, American Eagle red, Demon, Iron Wolf, and Batman. I also got three rides in a row on King Chaos, since there was never more than a one-cycle wait each time. The program was different each time, so they must be able to select more than one program to operate throughout the day.
